So you ended up in the ICU of a hospital in a city which's name you had forgotten a long time ago. And as if that wasn't enough, you had also relived two of your most unwanted memories. Greatest day of your life!

The food at the hospital was surprisingly good. The constant surveillance was unsurprisingly annoying. There was this constant beeping noise which told you that you were still alive. Thank you very much, you already knew that you were still breathing and your heart still beating. No need for a device here.

The other problem was, that you never were completely alone. Just as you finished your meal, two men showed up in your room who you had thought you had seen the best of. Stark and Strange stumbled into your room looking like two beaten schoolboys afraid of punishment.

It made you feel merciful. They were sorry, that was more than you had expected. no need to scold them.

They sat down on a chair next to your bed. Yes, one chair. Stark sat on Strange's lap. Disgustingly much love here. You discreetly looked away.

"So... how are you now?" , asked Strange. Idiot. How were you? Locked up. Hooked up to a beeping device. Annoyed.

"Physically? Could be better. They broke a few of my rips while doing CPR and breathing hurts. Apart from that? Bored. Far from content. Stuck" , you thought out loud. Strange sighed. He didn't seem to be surprised. Or sorry. Bitch.

"On a scale from one to ten, how well developed are your plans for a nightly escape?" , asked Stark. You had to hold back a laugh. Good thing you were still looking away from them. Goofy Stark. Your brain yelled "a solid 100" at you.

You turned your head to look at them. Would they try to prevent you from escaping?

> Strange? Judging by his serious face: definitely. He'd probably stay hovering in front of your window all night just to make sure that you stayed here. He still seemed quite impressed by the cardiac arrest thing.

> Stark? Nope. His mischievous grin promised some sort of help. Maybe he'd get you out of this building with the help of his suit. Not to be fangirling but this man had invented some pretty impressive tech. You wanted to see it again. It had been some time.

Calculating appropriate answer. Forget about the appropriate part. Calculating answer.

"My plans? They are on a solid zero" , you told them. With an undertone that promised that you weren't intending to keep it that way for long. Stark's smirk grew wider. Good man. Sometimes.

But you had told them the truth. You were planning to escape but you also didn't have the slightest idea how to do it. You'd actually hoped for some peaceful, mind supporting silence. You wouldn't get it. Especially not as long as Strange was in the room.

His eyes were glowing with some fierce energy and the promise of a violent action.

"You will not leave this hospital! I'll bind you to this bed with a spell if I feel it'll help with keeping you here!" , he threatend. And he meant it. Crap. Witty answer needed.

"What if I have to pee?" , you asked. Do not grin now! No grinning allowed or mission is failed!

"She has a point" , said Stark. You winked at him. Great support right there. The year you had spend together still seemed to be imprinted in this intelligent brain of his. He knew where his loyalties lay.

Strange shot his husband a deathly glare Stark couldn't see because it was the back of Tony's head he was glaring at. But Stark shivered. He probably felt it. The mischievous grin disappeared. He shrugged at you. Pfff... So much for loyalties.
