-Khun POV-

I put my hand to my throat. My fingers came back, slightly stained with red. Having my throat sliced doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would. A strange, almost giddy feeling arose in my chest, that didn't quite match the situation we were in, at the fact that Bam cared for me so much he went crazy over a little drop of blood. My common sense then kicked in, and I realized Bam was shaking.

"Khun, I didn't mean it," Bam said, looking at me with a desperate look in his eyes. "I really didn't mean to kill her." "I don't care if you meant it or not. You protected me. That's all I need to know." I said. "But Khun...when I was killing her, I didn't feel any remorse or regret. I just felt like she deserved to die," Bam whispered. "I didn't feel anything."

"Bam, the first time I killed someone, I was ten and in the middle of one of the Khun family's bloodbaths. There was no mercy; it was kill or be killed. At some point in the tower, you just get used to it. Stop beating yourself up Bam. You did the right thing."

"Come on Bam, let's head back."

Although Bam didn't know it, there was so much more that I had wanted to say right then.
