* Third Person POV*

Will and Quinn couldn't stop screaming in pain. But Quinn's was different. She wasn't being affected by the Shadow Monsters pain. She was being affected by Wills pain because that day on the field, when she touched him while he was being infected she was connected to Will and his pain. They pulled Will into a separate room as her. Quinn was curled in a bawl wrapping her arms around her stomach and her knees were bent and crouched up to her chest as she cried.

"Where does it hurt Quinn? Quinn I need you to tell me where it hurts, can you do that?" The Doctors asked transferring her on the hospital bed and pushing her knees down and putting her arms by her sides.

She couldn't even answer. All the noise in the room made her headache throb. Her nose was running with blood and her veins were glowing but not blue like usual, it was more like a irritated red and she could hear Will screaming from the other room. She wanted to scream but it only hurt her more. And all the sudden she passed out from the pain. The Doctors were taking her blood, pulse, checking for any sign of injury or anything but found nothing.

*** Quinn's POV***

I woke up hours later and no one was in the room. I tried to move but my arm was handcuffed to the table. Probably cause last time I was here in a situation where I was alone, I escaped. I still felt the after affects of last night. My head still hurt and my throat still sore from screaming. My body aches and itched but I couldn't stay in this lab another second. I used my powers to melt the cuffs and I opened the window. I was 4 story's high but I just used my powers to levitate myself and safely land on the ground. I looked around me to only see guards that I could easily get past. So I did. I quietly flew over the fence with out a single person noticing. I started running away from the hospital as far as I could. I was still a little out of it but I forced myself to just keep going. I got to town and went to the first telephone pole I saw. I typed in the first number I could think of. I told him to meet me at our usual spot in 10 minutes.

" Byers?" I heard quietly. " Byers?" He said again snapping me out of my thoughts. He touched my shoulder making me jump. I looked at him stood up off the swings and hugged him. And tears formed in my eyes. He hesitated and awkwardly hugged me back. "You okay?"

" I don't- I- not really." I said and backed away from the hug and just looked in his eyes. And then I noticed a bruise on his jawline and a small cut in the corner of his forehead that he was noticeably trying to cover with his hair, and a red mark from perhaps a slap on his cheekbone.

Put my hand on his his face and with my thumb whipped away a tear that he was obviously holding back and then let go when I comforted him.

" What happened."  I asked with pain in my voice.

" It doesn't matter. What happened with you?"

"Will...something's wrong with him. It's really bad." I cried.

"What's wrong with him?" He asked grabbing my hand comforting me.

"I-I- can't.. I-"

"You cant tell me still?"

" I- Billy..I-"

" No no, it's fine." He fake smiled. Not in anger. Just in frustration I think. I was lying and he could tell.

"Is that blood?" He asked turning my arm around to see the blood on my sleeve from last night.

"I'm fine." I said.

"That wasn't the question." He glared.

"Yes, but it doesn't matter." I said and he lightly rolled his eyes.
