I woke up early the next morning. I jumped up afraid. Trying to remember what happened last night. It didn't take long. I sighed and leaned my head back on the couch I was passed out on.
I tried to stand up but immediately fell down forgetting about my wounds. I fell in a push-up position and tried to strand back up.
I was in Mikes basement and I saw the rest of the kids just staring at me. "What?" I sighed.
"You okay?" Will asked and walked to me and hugged me.
"Yeah I'm fine." I whispered. I didn't hug him back. I just wasn't really in the hugging mood I guess.
I looked at El and she had a bandana over her eyes and her nose bled.
"What's going on?" I asked
"She's looking for Hopper." Will told me.
I limped over to the kids and sat on the floor joining them as they just stared at El.
"I found him." She said.
"Where is he?" Max asked.
"Woods." She stated.
"Woods?" Lucas asked.
"He's with Will and Quinn's mom." El informed.
"My- my mom?" Will asked.
"What are they doing?" Max asked.
"Ill-.. annoy" El tried. " They are going to Ill-annoy."
"Mike breakfast!" Mrs. Wheeler knocked.
"Not now mom!" He yelled back. "Illinois? Illinois like the state of Illinois?"
El shrugged. "Ill-annoy."

Me, Max, and El were in the bathroom. Max helped El clean the blood off her nose. I just stood and watched. They were talking but I was zoned out. All I could think of was Billy. I wore the jacket he gave me. It smelled like him. Sure it was like 87 degrees outside but.. it smelled like him. And it's the closest I could get right now to actually being with him.
There was a bump on Els forehead and damage on her throat from when Billy picked her up and threw her down. It gave me flashbacks just seeing our wounds.
"Does it still hurt?" Max asked El.
"O-only when I talk." El replied.
"Well it's a good thing you're not Mike then." She teased. "Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. You'd be in constant pain." They laughed.
The boys talked about what to do about Billy in the next room. Then they started talking about if me and El could figure out what to do. And that lead to just talking about El and their break up.
