"Well, thats settles it, he's gonna die, they're gonna die." Erica shrugged frustratedly.
"Yep. Most likely." Dustin agreed.
"You guys survived." Lucas stated.
"Barley. We could have really used you guys down there." Dustin said softly.
We all nodded. "Could have used you up here." I replied and nudged his elbow with a small smile.
"Yeah man, we missed you dude." Lucas smiled.
"Yeah, big time." Will grinned.
"I missed you guys too." Dustin stepped closer and they huddled into a half circle of awkward but cute half hugs.
"Please don't cry, nerds." Erica cringed.
"Erica!" Lucas rolled his eyes frustratedly.
"Say my name again, see what happens." She sassed.
"Hey, heads up!" Hopper shouted throwing Dustin a walkie talkie. "You can navigate, just from some place safe." Hopper finally agreed.
"It's not that simple." Dustin started to explain.
I walked over to El and Max. "How you feeling?" I asked with a unnoticeably fake smile.
El didn't exactly answer. She just shrugged.
"Well, she's a little dinged up but, she's the toughest. She's be okay." Max said.
"I'll be okay." El said softly. I sat next to her. And stared off in front of me. They were both staring me. I pretended not to notice.
"How are you feeling?" They asked.
I sighed. "I'm okay." I lied.
"What happened with you earlier. You said your powers were hurting you. What changed?" Max asked.
"I started to breathe, and calm down I think. So much was going on my body couldn't really take it all in. It was too much. This whole week was too much."
"Does it still hurt?"
"When I think about it." I exhaled a laugh.
"Sorry." Max looked at the ground and frowned.
"It's okay."
"And.. what about Billy?" Max cautiously asked.
I looked back in front of me and sighed.
"I don't know. I don't really feel him right now."
"Maybe the Mind flayer doesn't want you to." Max suggested.
"Yeah, maybe." I bit the inside of my lip nervously.

"Just stay close with your siblings, and do what they say. Okay?" I heard my mom say to Will.
"I'm not worried about me mom, I'm worried about you." He replied.
She rubbed his arms comfortingly. "Oh honey, I'm gonna be fine." She smiled as his compassion. "Okay? I'm gonna be fine." She teared up and hugged him.
"Okay mom.. mom that's enough." He laughed but she just hugged him tighter.
My mom looked at me. She carefully backed out of Wills hug. She smiled at Will and said "I'm gonna be okay." And walked to me. I hugged her. "He's gonna be okay, you're gonna save him." She said about Billy. "He's gonna be okay. Just make sure that... just.. please.. please be safe. Please."
I cried. "I will. And you be safe too, okay?"
"I will. I know you're strong but you have had a lot happen. Please be safe I love you."
