A/N: two things regarding this oneshot:
§1 - due to practical reasons you are a criminal lawyer in this one
§2 - this one plays either before the BB cases or in an alternate timeline- it's your choice.

Oh, so much cake... which one should I choose?
As I was waiting in line at the bakery, I fortunately still had some time to decide. After a while, the customer in front of me turned around, trying to balance the boxes of cake he was carrying. Unfortunately, he did not look at his surroundings when he did so...

"Oh no! I am sorry!", I rushed instinctively as he bumped into me, still being able to stop the boxes from falling.

"Do not worry, nothing happened to the cake! Are you alright?"

I giggled. "Yes, pardon my negligence!"

"Oh it was mine!"

For a while the man and I just stared at each other. Now that we had calmed down after the incident, I finally got to really take his appearance in.

The man had raven, spiky hair which contrasted his pale skin very strongly. Under his eyes were deep, black eyebags that made him look as if he had not gotten sleep in a long while- and his tired eyes were equally dark. He was wearing very wide and comfortable looking clothing which made him look so different in comparison with the general public. Apart from that, his posture was a little unusual- instead of standing straight like a normal person, the man stood a little more casually and his back was a little curved, making him seem a little shorter than he probably was, even though he was still quite tall. Despite his tired appearance, to me, he somehow appeared... so beautiful.

After a while, I started blushing.

"Would you like to have some coffee here? So I can apologise properly?"

"No need for an apology, but coffee sounds good!", I smiled.

———-

"May I ask for your name?", the man asked.

"Uh, it's ~!"

"A beautiful name."

I blushed.
"May I ask for yours?"

The man thought for a while as he placed a thumb on his lips.
"You can call me... Lawliét."

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lawliét", I smiled.

Lawliét and I chose a calm spot in the bakery to be able to talk in peace. When we sat down, I noticed him doing so in a quite unusual way, he was rather slouching on his chair than properly sitting on it. Lawliét's legs were drawn closely to his chest and he placed his hands on them, making him look like a little frog. Even though it was an odd sight, I smiled at his adorableness. Lawliét is such a sweetly unique person.

"If you wonder about my way of sitting, I have to sit like this", Lawliét remarked casually.
"If I don't, my ability to concentrate decreases dramatically."

I giggled.
"Is that so? And Lawliét, I don't mind you sitting that way at all!"

"You don't? Most people are understandably perplexed by this, it must be a strange sight."
