I was walking to the sandlot through the opening in the gate near the dug out. I never usually go in through their but I felt like doing it to scare the guys. As I'm creeping up near the gate I hear the guys talking. "Smalls you just gotta tell her already!" Says Benny. "Yeah yeah! Someone's gonna take her from ya and you'll regret not telling her!"says yeah yeah. "I don't know guys... she's a beautiful talented athletic girl! She's an excellent baseball player! She's the captain of the cheerleading and she's a straight A student! Why would she want to be with a chum like me?..." says smalls. I hear the pure sadness in his voice. Truth is I've always had a thing for smalls. I just never really had the time to think about boys. I had had enough of this conversation. I barge in through the gate, the guys staring at me in shock, I look at smalls dead in the eyes. "Your an idiot you know that right?" I say to him with a smile on my face. He looks at the guys while the guys look at me to him. I roll my eyes playfully and walk towards smalls. I grab him by the shirt pull him up and closer to me and I give him a passionate kiss. At first he didn't kiss back but then he did putting his hands on my waist. I pull back smiling with the guys all staring at me in shock. Even smalls. "Well smalls whatcha say? Wanna go steady with me?" I say with the biggest smile ever. He nods with a dorky smirk on his face. I laugh and kiss his cheek. "Well shall we play boys?" I say winking at them. They start hollering heading out to the field. I laugh and think to myself for a bit.
