"You know.... I'm so grateful to have you." I say. She looks up to me and smiles. She looks down and blushes. She seems to be in deep thought. "You know your really cute when your thinking?" I tell her. She stops in the middle of the road and look at me. She bites her lip nervously and looks me in the eye. A little twinkle brightens her stare and I smile admiring the only girl for me. "I love you Alan MCLennan" She says. I feel shocked. I'm at a lost for words. "You love me?" I ask grabbing her hand and inching closer to her. "Yea...I love you." She says smiling at me. She kisses my lips softly and graces my cheek. I pull away smiling and say "I love you more. I really do. I can't imagine a world without you!" I say. And I really mean it. She smiles and hugs me tightly. "Yeah yeah?...." she says. "Hmm?" I reply. We kept hugging for a while until we both pulled away for a quick kiss. We continue our walk to sandlot. And I came back even after military school. I couldn't stay away. She was mine and mine only.
