you and Smalls have been dating for over a three months and everything has been just perfect. You guys spend a lot of time together and the guys support you guys. You think you actually might love Scotty. Granted your older than him and taller than him he's very protective over you. He tries his best to make you happy and keep you around and you doing mind it at all. Except sometimes things have to change for the better or worse.
Your POV
I was walking towards Scotty's house. I usually pick him up on the way to the sandlot. I knock on the door and his sister opens it. I smile and say "hey lily!" She looks mad and yells "what are you doing here?! I thought you didn't like Scotty anymore!!" I was appalled. I loved Scotty and everything seemed fine yesterday. I was utterly confused. "Well I hope you know the new girl is a way better girl friend to him than you ever will be!!" Then she slams the door. I hear talking behind the door. And the door slams open. "Y/N! What are you doing here??" "Sandlot remember? And what does your sister mean other girl?" Scotty looks at me with sadness in his eyes "I love you too much to lie to you..." he says. "I cheated" he finally says. My heart sinks into my body. I feel my body begin to shake and hot tears form in my eyes. "I'm so sorry baby please ..." I didn't let him finish. I run to the sandlot as fast as I can. The guys are in the dugout and are talking and laughing. I run to them crying. "Hey Y/- what's wrong?!" My best friend Benny Says . They all surround me with questioning looks. "Smalls cheated on me..." I say quietly but loud enough for them to hear. They all gasp. Benny pulls me into a tight hug as I cry into his shoulder . I pull away wiping my tears. I look at them. Yeah yeah is pounding his fist. And Kenny is thinking deeply strong at the ground. "Please don't do anything to him... it's all my fault! I was probably not good enough for him." I say with hot tears streaming down my face. "Hey hey hey... your an amazing girl and what Smalls did to you was wrong." Squints says to me holding my hand. I smile. I get up clean myself up a bit and head to the field with the boys. After a bit of playing we see Smalls show up to the field. Like the first day we met. He looked lost and sad watching us play. Wanting to join but holding himself back. The boys stopped and we all approached him. Yeah yeah grabbed my hand and walked with me. "Y/N listen I-l" small didn't get to finish he was interrupted my kenny yelling "listen here smalls! What you did was wrong and forget about the relationship I'm talking about cheating on your best friend! If it weren't for her and Benny we wouldn't have taken you in!!" Smalls has tears in his eyes. " I only want you... I know that now.. I am so sorry... I thought you were just a summer time crush for so long... and when I lost you I realized I loved you! Heck I want to marry you one day! I want to grow old with you one day! Baby please what i did to you was unforgivable but I need you and you need me..." he says. Yeah Yeah is about to swing st him but I grab his hand. "Smalls...I love you... and I only live once ... so I don't want to waste the best summer of out time crying over someone else's mistakes...but your right I need you.. be careful Smalls this is your last chance." I say to him. He smiles and grabs me and kisses me. "Gosh I have missed you...." he says. I smile into his shoulder. "Now listen here smalls you break her heart you will be banned for life from this sandlot you hear??" Says Bertram. He nods. He looks at me and smiled. "Good thing that ain't my plans"
