"Man she's hot..." I say. My best friend in the whole world and my homie. And she's my crush. Not even crush at this point. See what most people don't understand is that..she's a baseball legend....she's smart and confident she's everything a kid would want! And she's hot! So why can't I just be that kid too. Why can't I be on her level.
"Man you should just tell her already!" Benny Says licking his lips while bowing his head. I fix my cap and look at Y/N talk to smalls. He must of said something funny because she started laughing. "Man her laugh..." I say breathlessly. "Ok. Kenny she's hot. She's everyone's dream girl and the only reason why I'm telling you to go for her it's cause she seems to really get along with you." Benny Says. I nod. He pats my back and walks over to the dug out. I walk over to Y/N and Smalls and she looks at me and her eyes twinkled I swear! "Hey best friend! Whatsup?" She says. She smirks brightly and leans on me facing Smalls while her hands in my pockets. I feel myself shake at her touch. "Oh I'll let you two talk..." Says Smalls winking at me. I fight the urge to punch his little prissy rich peppy boy a-
"So kenny whats up?" Y/N asked. I feel my cheeks get flushed. And her face begins to worry. "Well um..ya ...see..." I stutter. The sandlot Boys huddle around us. She looks around confused and then looks back to me. "Just kiss her." Squints Says. I look to her lips and grab her waist. I pull her close to me and kiss her gently. She freezes for a second and the she holds on to the back of my neck. She kisses back and smiles through our kiss. "Man oh man...." she says pulling away. The guys all clap an cheer and pat me on the back. She smiles at me and whispers in my ear "you know I've been waiting for that since the day I met you..." she said. I winked and kissed her again. She giggled and kissed my cheek sealing the deal. She wore my jersey to school for the rest of the year and even through out the summer. She never got tired of me. She loved me. And I loved her.
