"Benny Boy!" She Yells out cheerfully. I turn to face her. Y/N. The prettiest and obviously popular kid in our grade. Straight A student, head cheerleader, and star baseball player of the Mini League series for girls. "Hey Y/N." I say smiling. She walks over to me and readjusts her backpack. "Hey I was wondering since the new baseball stadium on the other side of town just opened up you would maybe want to go with me? I already bought the tickets and everything...you just have to say yes" she said persuasively. She giggled and smiled waiting for my answer. "Well Benny answer the girl." Says Smalls appearing out of no where. I turn to her and smile and I say "of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world." She smiles and nods. "Ok see you then. You meet me in the front of the stadium and its a date!" She says cheerfully. She places a swift kiss on my cheek and takes off with her friends. I turn to smalls and smile. "Holy shit." We both say. "The hottest girl in school just asked you out." He says surprised. I nod and watch Y/N walk off with her friends. "Cmon we gotta get to the sandlot but man oh man" Smalls says laughing at me.
The next day
I walk on the side walk and near the front of the stadium. I see Y/N waiting for me near the front of the doors. "Hey!" She says. She smiles and hugs me. I feel myself blush. God she's so pretty. "Hey." I say. She hands me the ticket and we walk in. "Hey I'll get the snacks and you can just sit tight ok?" I tell her as we walk towards our section. She nods and sits down. After cominnnack with the food I see this kid trying to hit on her. "Please go away my boy friend will be back any second." She says to the boy. I feel myself blush. Boy friend? "Well I don't see him so why don't you give me a quick little half time show huh?" He says getting closer to her. She seems slightly frantic and I step in. "HEY. That's my girl your messing with and I don't think you wanna have an issue with me. Ok?" I say as intimidatingly as I could be. The boy nods quickly and takes off. She looks at me in relief. "Thank god I thought I was going to have to use my pepper spray." She said giggling. I smile and and sit down. "Yeah well as your boy friend I can't let them happen can I?" I say. Hoping she won't reject it. She paused and look out the field. She smiled. "Rodriguez's girl on a jersey sounds pretty good huh." She said looking towards me. I bite my lip and look at hers. She notices and look at my lips. We inch in and all of a sudden we hear music playing. The game had officially started. We pull away and I became very frustrated. We watch the game and argue over who is doing what and honestly I was having a lot of fun with her. Until the kiss cam came on. "Oh my god I hate this part.... it's so funny though." She says laughing and rolling her eyes. "Could be worse could be us." I say. She gives me a playfully offended look and laughs. We continue looking at the screen and it lands on.....
"Oh my god..." she says. I smile at the sight of us on the big screen. I turn to her and I smile. I lean in and kiss her lips gently. She smiles and kisses back grabbing onto the back of my neck. I hear whistles and cheer coming from everywhere and we pull away. We look at each other and smile. We both blush and look away. We continue to watch the game until it finally ends. "I had a lot of fun. Thank you Benny." She says looking into my eyes. I look at the ground and smile. "Yeah well I like a lot." I say looking into her eyes. "I like you to Benny and I know it's not usual for the girl to ask the guy but will you be my boy friend?" She asks me with hopeful eyes. I smile and kiss her. I wrap my arms around her waist. We stay like that for a while and then we pull away. We look into each other's eyes and smile. "Well I should get going but thank you for the evening Benny and I'm looking forward the walking in with you on Monday." She says winking and walking away. "Shit...."
