Please leave your comments guys they really do make me write better!

I'd spent the rest of my weekend moping around the house and trying to spark up a conversation with Archie through text to see how things were between us.

It had been awkward on Saturday when I had denied his advances and I was starting to feel a little guilty. I had obviously made him feel embarrassed and unwanted and that must have been the reason he made me leave his house so quickly. I wasn't getting a lot of communication back from him either; his responses were fairly blunt and one-worded.

I spent a lot of the weekend texting Tiffany too and had told her that Archie had made the move on me. I was starting to look forward to getting back to school on Monday so I could speak to the girls about it and get out of this damn house.

When Monday rolled around, I was out of the house sharp and got the bus to school for the first time. I had finally removed my cast, against my mother's advice but I was sick of wearing the thing. My arm was still bandaged up but it looked better than wearing that thing.

I was so eager to see the girls and get their thoughts on what had happened. They were waiting for me on the steps when I arrived and I hugged each of them before we headed to the coffee stand just outside of the school gates then made ourselves comfortable at the school fountain to have a little girl time before class.

'So, he went for it?' Kady got straight to the point.

I glanced at Tiffany who shrunk back and blushed.

'Sorry,' she said weakly, feeling guilty for telling.

'It's cool,' I smirked. 'But yes...he did.'

'You knocked him back?' Kady pushed.

'I did,' I sighed. 'At the time, it just didn't feel right. I mean I have this stupid cast on my arm for one and it was just so sudden, like, he didn't even tell me we were going to his house. He pulled up outside and just took me straight to his room and just...went for it. As if I should have known it was coming.'

'Hmm...it does seem a little soon,' Tiffany said. 'If you didn't feel ready then you did the right thing.'

'Have you went that far with anyone before?' Kady asked.

'Yeah,' I said. 'But he waited for me to feel ready. Archie just seemed to assume I was up for it.'

'Because most girls that go back to Archie's bedroom usually are,' Millie said.

I cringed at the thought of other girls being on the very bed I was with Archie.

'What happened when you said no?' Kady asked.

'I feel bad about that now,' I sighed. 'He was clearly embarrassed that I rejected him. He keeps avoiding me.'

'What did he say?' Millie asked.

'Nothing much,' I shrugged. 'Just that he had to go meet his friends. Then he dropped me home and I've barely heard from him all weekend.'

I thought about what happened after that in the woods when Kayne tried to come onto me and Cal saved my ass once again; I kept this part of the day from the girls. My thoughts became distracted by the glances the girls were giving each other.

'What?' I asked.

'You feel bad about what happened?' Kady frowned. 'Archie ditched you because you wouldn't sleep with him.'

'What? No he didn't,' I frowned.

'Are you really that gullible, Bethan?' Millie asked.

'Excuse me?' I frowned. 'He's barely said anything all weekend because he's embarrassed.'
