Never Forgotten (Levi X OC Fanfiction)

Chapter 19

Levi Squad are now making their way towards their new headquarters, although Levi never agreed to move farther from where Gwen rests, he had no choice but to follow his commander's orders.

"Tch. It must be full of dust in there. Get to work."

Everyone got their cleaning supplies and started cleaning the entire castle.

"Oi, Eren. It's nowhere near clean. Do it all over again." The clean freak ordered Eren to redo his work.

Night came and the Special Ops squad is gathered in the dining room.

"...but I heard there are plans for a large-scale expedition in thiry days." Levi states.

"So that means the new graduates will be joining us in this expedition?" Gunther responded.

Levi takes a sip of his tea. "I don't know, but it's Erwin we'rr talking about. He's probably one step ahead of us."

A large bang came from the door which startled Eren, Petra stood from her seat and opened the door to reveal the crazy scientist.

"Good evening, Levi Squad! How's castle life treating you?" She said cheerfully.

Levi looked annoyed, "you're early."

Hanji ignored Levi's response and went to Eren. "Eren!"

"S-Squad Leader Hanji."

"Just so you know, I'm in charge of experimenting two titans we just captured. And I need your help for tomorrow's experiment!" She beams.

"Uhhh..." Eren don't know what to answer and glanced at Levi who just sits there emotionless.

"Hey, Levi. What will Eren be doing tomorrow?" Hanji asks the corporal.

"Cleaning the garden."

"Then it's settled! Tomorrow you'll be helping me!" Hanji bounces up and down in excitement.

Eren looked confused and he had to ask, "Squad Leader Hanji, may I ask?"

Hanji stops squealing and turns to Eren.

"What are these experiments about?" Eren continued.

Gunther, Eld, Petra, and Oluo groaned. "You shouldn't have asked." Oluo retorted. Levi stood from his seat without a word followed by his squad until it was Hanji and Eren left until morning.

Levi mounted on his horse in the middle of the night and made his way towards the old HQ to visit a certain grave.

He picked another rose and laid it on Gwen's grave. "Today was tiring, we had to move to a new headquarters, it's far from here but it's no reason for me to stop visiting here everyday."

Levi stayed for another hour, then he decided it's time to leave and come back the next day. "I'll be heading back now, brat. I love you." And with that he went back to the castle.

"SAWNEY! BEAN!" Hanji screams in agony infront of the corpse of her two beloved titans. Eren stands there agape, Levi stand emotionless like always.

Eren was startled when a hand grabs his shoulder from behind.
"Who do you think the real enemy is?" It's just Erwin. Eren stares at him in shock for a minute, "forget I asked." Then he left with Levi.
