Third person POVMinutes has passed since the battle started. Eren transformed at the other side of the wall, battling the Armored Titan together with Levi Squad, Hanji Squad, and Hiruka Squad.
With their new weapons called Thunder Spear, this gave them a bigger oppurtunity to defeat the Armored Titan.
"We only can confirm two attacks that can break the Armored Titan's shell," Hanji stated to the soldiers, bringing two metal rods in both hands. "Eren's locks and Gwen's armor ability against Reiner. Since Erwin wanted Gwen to fight on the side where the Beast Titan is, there's no sure she can fight the Armored Titan, we can only be sure of Eren."
"What are those metal rods, Hanji-san?" asked Eren.
Hanji chuckled, raising it in the air. "Atleast call them spears. These were made by the Corps Engineers. Its big explosion is comparable to lightning, hence the name Thunder Spear. It may work on normal titans, will it work too on the Armored?"
"Here's our chance!" Hanji shouted, seeing Reiner kneeling. She and Mikasa maneuvered side my side, targeting the spear at Reiner's eyes.
"Pull!"
Mikasa and Hanji pulled away, triggering the explosion--
BOOM!
The big explosion caused Reiner to go blind for a few minutes.
Meanwhile on the other side of the wall, Levi, Hiruka, Gwen, and the other cadets wiped out all small titans nearing the horses.
"Why is he not moving?" Gwen mumbled to herself, watching the Beast Titan staying still in the same spot. She turned to her side, instinctly landing a punch on a titan about to attack her. "If this goes out to plan, we shall be able to end this easily."
Everyone continued going with the flow; killing titans, protecting the horses, while Eren and the others were occupied with Reiner.
Until a binding light came from where Eren and the others were, making the other cadets divert theie attention to if.
"What is that light?" Gwen muttered.
Levi had a look of confusion on his face, then the ground started to rumble.
Gwen squinted her eyes, seeing the Beast Titan swinging both arms with boulders in his hands. Her eyes widened in realization as he realeased the boulders and aimed it at the squads who were too busy to notice.
"Shit!" Gwen cursed, sprinting towards the soldiers, and Levi who stood ontop of a house with no idea what's coming at him.
The boulders got nearer, until the distance finally closed. Gwen was able to reach in time, grabbing Hiruka in the frontlines and a handful of cadets in her hands as she got into a crouching position, trying her best to block all boulders from hitting the squads.
Just in time, Levi turned his attention back to the Beast Titan as he barely dodged a few debris that Gwen wasn't able to block.
He's throwing rocks again, Levi thought, tightening his grip on the gears.
Then the Beast Titan lets out a deafening roar, and the ground started shaking again.
The taller titans from his left started running towards everyone.
"No. . ." Levi mumbled, seeing the titans enclosing in as Gwen placed Hiruka and the other soldiers and the ground as they regrouped. "They're not coming for us. . ." His eyes widened, stopping on a roof. "GWEN!"
Gwen turned her attention to Levi, seeing the look of worry in his face. What is he saying-- she stopped mid thought as a heavy weight fell ontop of her. And before she knew it, titans were attacking her.
"Shit. I need to back her up." Levi growled under his breath as he hid behind house, "But the boulders just keeps on coming." He gritted his teeth; in great dilemma. But I need to meet up with the others. Levi turned to Gwen once more, hands shaking. "Just hang in there," he said before making his way to where the others were hiding.
"I. . .c-can't die now. . ." Gwen whispered to herself as she struggled underneath the titans. She had her whole body covered with armor and crystal, "This won't last long," she said.
She struggled to stand, smashing titans against each other, throwing some far away but more just keeps on coming back.
Her breathing turned labored as the crystals and armor started fading away.
I'm not dying today. . .
Gwen gathered all her strength, weakly standing up as she lets out a familiar battle cry.
And all titans surrounding her froze on spot, their eyes glowing emerald green.

"Erwin, do you have a plan in mind?" Levi asked, arriving behind a house where the last of the Scouts were.
Then more boulders started coming at the houses again, and the wall shook as Eren was thrown unconscious ontop of it.
"Erwin if you're saying we have no counterattack, get ready to flee." Levi stated stoicly, "Ride Eren and flee. Atleast we'll have survivors."
"Levi. What would you do?" Erwin asked.
"I'm facing the Beast Titan," Levi replied sternly, "Take Eren, Hanji, Gwen, and yourself home. Atleast humanity still has a chance."
"This was not the plan, Levi. But there's a slighy way to be able to counterattack."
"There is a way? You should've have said sooner."
"If the plan goes well, you may be able to take down the Beast Titan, this may cost the soldiers' lives." Erwin said sternly, "And myself."
Erwin walked to an empty place as Levi walked behind.
"It takes an expert con man and a slew of lies," he said. "I can't lead the vanguard without getting myself killed." Erwin slumped down on a crate, leaning against a broken wall. "I want to go to that basement."
"What?" Levi mumbled.
"I. . .I have lived, hoping that this day would come, that I'll get to see what's in there. But Levi. . .can you see them? Our comrades?"
Levi's eyes flashed sadness, watching a man about to giving his last resort.
"They want to know what became of the hearts they gave, because the fight isn't over yet."
Levi stepped infront of Erwin, kneeling down on one knee as he bent his head. "It's all thanks to you that we've come this far. But I made my choice -- give up on your dream and die. Lead the recruits straight into hell. I will take down the Beast Titan."
Erwin had a look of hope in his eyes for a few minutes, a smile appearing on his face.
"Here's the plan."
