Edward's POV:

"I told you to kidnap the princess, not him! Now what?!"

"He saw us... I just can't let him go."

"Whatever!"

I opened my eyes and observed my surroundings. My hands are currently tied in a metal pole, and no matter how much I tugged, the bond won't come out.

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. That won't work babe." Tanya was suddenly by my side.

A sudden stinging pain made it's way towards my chest, "Argh!" I groaned in pain.

"What did you do?!" I asked furiously.

Tanya smirked deviously and pulled out something in her pocket, "We drugged you... obviously."

My eyesight is getting worse by the second... my chest stung like a bitch and my body felt numb... what's going on?!

"All of these wouldn't have happened, if only you chose me back then." She said sadly.

"You were never an option Tanya, you were just a sister... nothing more!" I spat at her sullen face.

I expected her to hit me, given the advantage She had, but instead She smiled sadly and continued, "I knew that."

"Argh!" Another pain.

"But I hoped Ed... hoped that it'll change, but then Bella came and ruined my plans." She said sadly.

"Argh!" When will this end?!

"Yeah... I often ask myself that question. When will this end? My love for you... cause you know what? It's only gotten stronger." She admitted.

"What happened to the Denali's?" I asked panicking, She wouldn't kill her own family right?

She snickered, "Those kill joys? I left them."

"W-Why?" I stuttered because of the pain.

"They called me pathetic... They told me to stop my plans for us. I mean, I heard Bella's dead so what's stopping me... But on the way, I met Victoria, She told me about her plans... and now I'm here." She finished, smiling.

I stared at her smiling face and frowned, "What made you think that you'll have a chance, now that Bella's gone?" I asked rudely.

Something in her eyes snapped but She remained calm and collected, "It was a gut feeling."

"You'll never be half as to what Bella is worth!" I yelled at her.

Well that did it.

"I am better than her. I'll show you, I will kill her right in front of you!" She yelled, anger dripping in her tone.

How did She know that Bella is still alive?

"What are you talking about?" Hoping that She just lapsed.

"Huh! You thought we don't know about her? Bella Volturi, The Volturi 'Princess' ?" She snickered arrogantly.

Another pain.

"Argh! H-How?" I asked weakly.

"We are just as powerful as you guys are ... remember that." That was the last thing I heard, for yet again, darkness enveloped my senses.
