Your face turned a bright scarlet red as you slowly removed your arms from around Loki's chest, your hands brushing against his hair as he smiled and backed away.

"I-" You turned to Tony and Thor, your face still red as you felt your heart beating near out of your chest. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping on the conversation, but if my opinion is valid here-"

"It isn't. Get back in your room." Tony spoke harshly to you as he stepped forward, presumably heading for Loki. "Now." Right. You thought. They can handle what happened and I- your thoughts were cut short as you looked up at Loki's piercing green eyes. He hadn't done anything wrong, at least, not right now.

"Dad!" You stepped in between him and Loki, your socks still sliding on the floor as the adrenaline rush that caused you to jump forward abruptly cut short. "Loki helped me, come on! If he hadn't-" You stopped, choosing your words. "Helped me up, I would have fallen on the floor. He didn't do anything wrong."

"Did you just interrupt me?" Tony put his hand up to his chest in mock surprise. So dramatic. "Look, kid, you don't know who he is. Not really. Just go back to your room and let me and Thor handle this, ok?" Tony's gaze softened as he squeezed your shoulders lightly before letting go and turning back to Loki, who was silently standing on the outside of the conversation, behind you.

"Perhaps we should hear Y/N's opinion on this, Stark." Thor walked up behind Tony and stared down at him. "It is her room that began this argument. She should have a say in this." Tony looked up and sighed before giving a reluctant nod and looking back at you.

"Alright then! I'm outnumbered by my own team. Y/n, what's your opinion?" Tony turned to you and sighed again, crossing his arms.

"Well I-" You blinked and began again. "I think that Loki should have a say in this too, it is his room after all." You directed the focus away from yourself and to Loki, who was watching everything happen. "What do you think?"

"I don't care where I'm residing, but if Thor believes that this room is fit for me, then I respect his opinion above any of yours." It sounded like Loki wasn't trying to be rude to you, but it definitely came off that way.

"Alright then." You rolled your eyes almost in sync with Tony, like father like daughter. "There we have it. Loki and I agree with Thor's decision, and Thor's decision is that Loki's room is that one." You pointed to the room across from yours, one of the many vacant in the tower. "If what Thor really said is true," You continued. "Then we shouldn't have any reason fear Loki any more than we do Bucky. What they did wasn't their fault."

"I do not know who this Bucky person is, but I do agree with Y/n. You are outnumbered Tony." Thor boomed as Tony rolled his eyes again and stormed out of the hallway, muttering about how you betrayed him in his classic dramatic fashion. "Enjoy the room, brother!" Thor patted Loki on the back as he walked out of the area, leaving you and Loki alone together in the hallway.

"Well." You awkwardly rubbed your neck and shifted in your stance, your face heating up. "Thank you for catching me, uh sir?" You looked up at Loki as he walked towards the room.

"A matter of courtesy. And you may address me as Loki, if you wish." Loki smiled to you as he closed the door to his room, his accent echoing around the empty hallway. You stared at the door in a trance, your face a bright shade of red, your knees feeling like collapsing as your heart near beat out of your chest. Your mind, for once, was blank as you stumbled back into your room, shutting the door behind you. Why is he- why do I feel so discoordinated? You thought as you paced through the length of your room, running your fingers through your h/c hair frantically. I just- I just need to relax. You took a deep breath and calmly walked over to your own little invention room. The blue walls blurred as you fell down in the nearest seat and pulled up a design for pocket-carried blasters. Anything to get him off your mind. You read the blueprint's overview and walked over to your scrap metal bin, ready to begin a night of building.
