Giselle Archer... the girl who lost her mother and lost herself as a young girl. She has never truly believed in love and never truly believed in herself. She joins the New Directions, because she was best friends with Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray...
It's hard to believe that I won't be walking into this room after the school year ends. I knew leaving high school was going to be emotional, but I always figured that I would be coming back during the breaks and nothing would change. It's just miserable to think about a life without glee club. I've continued to think about being able to come check up with the glee club every once in a while to see the newbies continue our tradition, but here we are concluding that best years any of us could have had.
I quietly got ready for Sebastian's Senior Cotillion at Dalton. I had decided to wear my prom dress that my dad got me for my senior prom. However, I didn't go, because I got the flu.

When I finished getting ready, I had my pretty updo and my beautiful dress. I wore a little more make than usual. I wore a pair of lavender heels to match it.
I sat in my room looking at my photo album. I didn't want tears to weld in my eyes. I just had did my make up. Then, the doorbell rang. I grabbed my clutch and placed my phone inside. Then, I made my way down my staircase.
"There She is!" My dad smiles. "You look wonderful, sweetie." He hugs me.
"You look... amazing." Sebastian gasped as he held the corsage. He wore an actual tuxedo.
"Thank you." I smiled.
"Pictures!!!" Charlotte squealed. We went outside in the sun to take pictures in our nice garden. After many of the cheesy and classic prom pictures, we departed from my dad and Charlotte.
We went out to a lovely dinner at Breadsticks and then, went to his Cotillion. Everything was beautiful. It was absolutely stunning. It was more formal and professionally decorated than McKinley Dances. It was like the ideal, real deal.
"Woah, this is incredible." I gasped as I took in the beautifully decorated gymnasium. It was rather large. It had tables with assigned seats for each of the seniors and their plus ones if they had any. On top of that, there was still a large dance floor towards the stage with the live band. Their gym was like triple the size as ours.
"I mean—our sponsors do like to go all out." He chuckled.
"Why are there assigned tables?" I asked.
"They like to do some sort of awards thing before hand which is why we needed to be here on time." He explained.
"Ah, cool." I nodded. We headed over and sat down at the assigned table. We were seated with Trent, Nick, and Jeff. They had dates as well.
"Guys, I don't know if you remember, but this is Elle." He introduces me.
"It's so great to see you again!" Trent hugged.
"Wow, it's hard to believe that you are all graduating." I stated.
"I mean it was just yesterday that you walked in during Uptown Girl." Jeff added.
"Time flies." Nick added.
"Oh, meet our fates!" Trent commented. "This is my girlfriend, Laurie." He introduced the short brunette. She was pretty.
"It's great to meet you." She smiled. I can see why he liked her. She is a spitting image of him.
"This is Stacy." Nick introduces the red head. She was pretty.
We all sat down at the table and began to have a causal conversation.
"So Sebastian didn't tell us how Nationals went for you all." Jeff brought up.
"Uh, well, we got second." I tried to fake a smile.
"That's incredible! Second best in the country!" Trent reassured.
"According to Sue Sylvester, getting second isn't good enough..." I paused. "Our glee club was disbanded."
"I'm so sorry!" Nick apologized. They all gave me concerned looks.
"It's fine, really." I reassured them. "Luckily, I was a senior."
"If it makes you feel better, you were our toughest competition." Jeff complimented.
"I mean—we were pretty good." I chuckled. Hearing that did kind of help.
"Hello! Welcome to the Dalton Senior Cotillion!" The headmaster began. "I would just like to say this... you all have been another academically excelled, incredible class to be leaving Dalton, and we know you all will be going to do amazing things. I'll save the boring speech for the ceremony." He paused as he looked at his notecards. We all just chuckled. "Tonight we will be recognizing students who have been an excellent role model and prized student to have come into Dalton." He started. "These students should be proud of themselves and their achievements they have earned here. Our student body selected students they thought had best represent each of these awards." The headmaster added. "Let's begin." He began to read off names of students and the award they won. They all would go up and get their some sort of plaque from the headmaster.
"And finally... this award is given to the student who has shown tremendous achievements on and off grounds of Dalton. Despite his mistakes, he learned from them. He showed what a true Dalton Boy is. Through being the star player on the lacrosse field and through his musical talent in the Warblers. According to many, he has been trying to make the Dalton experience better to make up for his mistakes. He has maintained a 4.0 gpa. This award is highly recognized by both the staff and faculty, and not a lot of students would have done what this young man has." He paused. "For Dalton's Boy of the Year, I'd like to proudly recognize the recipient of this award... Sebastian Smythe." I looked over at Sebastian. He was in shock. Everyone was cheering. Sebastian got up from his seat and crabbed the plaque and gold pin from the headmaster. He shook his hand and walked down the stage. He walked back over to me and sat down.
"Congrats Dalton's Boy of the Year." I grinned.
"I don't think I deserved it." Sebastian commented.
"You are just being modest." Jeff chuckled.
"True! I mean—you had a tremendous change in attitude and personality after the whole slushy thing with Blaine. Ever since, you devoted your high school career to change." Trent pointed out.
"You became something special." I smirked as I kissed him. After the rest of the speeches, it was finally time to dance.
"Puis-je avoir cette danse, ma dame?" Sebastian stood up and held his hand out for me to grab.
"J'aimerais bien." I nodded. I stood up and grabbed his hand. We walked out to the dance floor just like everyone else and their dates. It was a slow song at first. Sebastian places his hands around my hips as I placed mine around his neck.
"I know your glee club being disbanded is breaking your heart." He brought up.
"Is it obvious?" I asked.
"I know you, Elle." He commented.
"It's just hard not being able to go back to the choir room when I'm having a life crisis when I am in college. It's hard to not have a place where all of my friends and I can be at and pretend like we are not adults." I stated.
"No matter where you all go, you all will be there for each other and help one another. On top of that, it's not the room that makes you special. It's the people you created memories with." He replied.
"You are smarter than you give yourself credit to, Mr. Dalton-Boy-Of-The-Year." I kissed him.
