Giselle Archer... the girl who lost her mother and lost herself as a young girl. She has never truly believed in love and never truly believed in herself. She joins the New Directions, because she was best friends with Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray...
It was April. Nationals was in about a month. However that was on the back of my mind. Prom was next weekend... Not only was it my first prom, but tomorrow was an anniversary. Not a good anniversary. My mother's and sister's death anniversary.
It was always the worst time. The only person who knows about the car accident when I was younger is Quinn. She has been the only person that I have ever told. Not even Sebastian knows. It's just something I have never felt I should share.
Sebastian has some sort of big date night plans tonight. It was a nice change. Usually on this day I'm at home watching home videos with Quinn so I can have a nice memory of my mother.
I slowly began to do my hair. Quinn was helping me out with what I should wear. Sebastian told me to dress nice.
"Well, I have this bright blue dress or I have this black and pink dress." I showed her.
"I would go with the black and pink one, because then you could wear this leather jacket with it and these heels." She held up. I still felt bad that she was in a whee chair for some reason.
"Perfect." I smiled.
"Are you going to be okay?" She brought up.
"I'll be fine." I commented.
"Are you sure?" She reassured.
"Quinn, I'm fine." I sighed.
"I'm just making sure." She stated innocently. "So are you going to prom with Sebastian?"
"Um, I didn't really bring it up." I admitted.
"How come?"
"Well, it's because most of the glee club is still not to fond of him. Also, because I know my dad won't approve of Sebastian." I remembered.
"Listen, I think you should ask Sebastian to take you to your prom... I know the glee club may hate him, but this is one of the last nights for the seniors to have fun with everyone before they leave." She explained. "And why haven't you told your dad about Sebastian?"
"My dad is just never home, so I figured I never really needed to bring it up." I sighed.
"Giselle Archer, if you ever wanted to marry this boy, then you are going to have to tell your dad at some point." She reminded.
"I know, I know." I sighed.
"What time is it?" Quinn asked.
"It's 5:50." I looked at my phone.
"And he's going to be here at 6? Right?"
"That's what I was told." I shrugged.
"Okay, I'll do your hair and you do your make up. We have ten minutes." She demanded. We both were in a frenzy to trying to finish my look. By the time I was done, quinn had straightened my blonde hair. My make up was a little natural but that's fine by me. I wasn't a huge fan of a lot of make up.
"Alright, one minute before he is here. I'm going to sneak out the back door before he catches me." She explained.
"Thanks," I hugged her and she sprinted off. Yes, we got back from glee rehearsals a bit later than I expected. I quickly brushed my teeth and right as I was rinsing off my tooth brush, I heard the door bell. I walked down the stairs in my tall heels and answered the door.
"Hey," I opened the door for Sebastian.
"Wow, you look stunning." He gasped.
"Thank you," I let out an awkward smile.
"Shall we?" He held his hand out for me.
"We shall." I chuckled. On my way out, I locked the door behind me.
After a long car ride, we finally arrive at this casibo that is near this lake. The car ride was maybe an hour away. It had beautiful lights strung all the way around it and it was almost pitch dark out.
"This is gorgeous," I gasped.
"I wanted this to be special." He stated.
"What was this for?" I asked as we both walked into the casibo where the table was set up.
"Well, I just want you to know how proud I am of you with the fact that you are going to nationals." He smirked.
"Sebastian, this is beautiful, and nobody has ever been crazy enough to do this for me." I added.
"I love you, Giselle Archer." He grinned as he kissed me.
"I love you more Sebastian Smythe." I responded.
We sat down at the table as he pulled out a picnic basket. He first pulled out the sparkling cider and then pulled out the premise food he had brought. He brought PB and J sandwiches which is not your ideal fancy date food however he remembered how much I loved them.
"This is all just amazing." I brought up.
"So you have said." He chuckled.
"Are you doing anything next weekend?" I asked.
"I don't recall of my parents having anything planned next weekend, so no I don't." He shrugged as he bit into his sandwich.
"If you don't have anything planned, I was wondering if you would like to be my date to my prom." I questioned.
"I'd love to." He smiled.

"It's such a beautiful night out." I brought up.
"Not as beautiful as you."
"Very smooth." I chuckled.
"That's my specialty." He chuckled. "So how's your brother and your dad doing?"
"My dad is working which has not really changed. My brother has this new girlfriend and changed his major again." I explained.
"Can I ask why you have never spoken of your mom?" He questioned. I knew this question would come up.
"I-uh-don't really talk about her that often because she is..." I paused and let out a small breathe. "Dead."
"Oh, I'm so sorry." He apologized.
"It's fine. It's really fine." I could feel my eyes watering. I just couldn't contain my tears.
"Don't cry," He came over and hugged me tight. "I'm sorry I brought it up."
"No, no, it's not that you brought it up." I shook my head. "It's just the fact that I miss her." I sniffled. "Sometimes I wish I had my mom still because my dad wouldn't work as much. My dad may actually be more of a father." I sniffled. "It's just hard because I don't know whether she would be proud of me."
"Listen, I know what it is like to have a father who is not really a father. I may not know what it is like to not have a mother to rely on, but I know she is proud of who you have become. You are probably the most caring girl I have ever met. You have such a beautiful smile and you have such a beautiful voice. You have some of the best dance moves. All you do is show kindness and you are compassionate to everyone." He stated. I just looked into his eyes and let out a smile.
"Sebastian, have I ever told you how much you I love you?" I wiped my tears. He just put his hands on the sides of my head, and kissed me. Not like a soft peck. An actual true loves kiss. Those kisses that make you feel like a little kid at the pit of your stomach. The one where all you can do is blush. The one where it changes your entire mood.
