You may know her story
But you don't know mine
I'd never had many close friends
But I was always fine

But one day I was swept up into a whirl
New School
New Rules
Fourth Grade with New girls
All the other new kids fit right in
Like the perfect puzzle peice
But me, I stood out
And got kicked out
Real quick

Fifth Grade
I made Friends
Brightend my Horizions
No more recesses with trees and books
But ones filled with fields and balls
Made some choices I'd regret
It was great, but I digress

I'm an extrovert
Finding friends isn't hard
Keeping them's the problem
My best friend made new friends
She left me all alone
To brave the horror of Middle School
All on My own

Even in Sixth Grade
My friends drifted away
It was like I was in Third Grade again
Sitting on the Monkey Bars
With just myself to play
And somehow this time
I wasn't okay

So when I met Padfoot
I thought the cycle would continue
But I was wrong
In Seventh Grade
I learned
I could sing a New Song of
This is Us
I have friends
No more missing links

Raise a Glass!
For the New song of Normality
Of Same School
Same Friends
And Fun that's not pretend
Of Hamilton
Of Libraries
Of Stress
It was the best
And the only thing I pray
Is that it will never end
