I built this fort
To help my sister fall asleep
We played with pillows
We sang softly
Telling stories far too lateI built this fort
To build a chamber of truth
Of trust between us
So she'd remember me
When I walked away

To create fun times
So we could bottle up our childhood
But nothing lasts forever
