And here comes my little rant/promo. Guys, this book is now at 5k and honestly thanks so much but I have also written a book called ACACIA. It is six months after Ashton and Sofia break up and it is when Ash first meets Cassie. I'm honest to God so proud of it right now and I appreciate that you may just want this book to be left on its own but personally I wanted to write totally about Cassie and Ash.
PLEASE VOTE FOR IT AND READ IT BECAUSE I'VE WORKED HARD ON IT, ITS NOT GOING TO BE VERY LONG EITHER SO PLEASE GUYS, GIVE IT A SHOT.
Acacia's POV
They found us laid side by side, bodies interlocked, fast asleep. Some kids taking A level science, looking at their plant samples.
One particularly shy looking girl with long brown hair and huge glasses, covering her icy blue eyes, had the job of awakening us.
"Oh, God. Sorry." I apologise profusely.
"Don't," she smiles, "I think it's cute."
I laugh, "It was his idea," I nod to my still sleep in boyfriend.
"He seems like a nice guy." She nods, her shyness fading away. "I love your hair by the way, I wish I had the confidence to do that to it."
"Then do it," I say, "Do whatever you want because you only get one life. Dye it."
"Maybe I will."
I look at her and I see myself, myself but two years ago, that shy nerd at the back to the classroom. But I spread my wings and learned to fly, just like my mother always told me to. My little butterfly, she'd call me.
I shake Ash awake and he opens his green eyes, squinting at the morning sunlight.
"Morning." He groans, his voice all grumbly and raspy.
"Morning." I reply, my face breaking into a smile at the sound of his morning voice like gravel being kicked by the feet of anxious children. "We should probably go, we have company." I tell him.
"Oh," realisation dawning upon him and he spots the class around us. "Hey." He says to them. Some of them nod but then turn away quickly.
We leave the roof top garden arm in arm and I skip to the car with Ash, still groggy from waking up, in tow. A never-ending smile planted on my face, unable to be removed.
I look back and note that even tired, half asleep Ash has a grin on his face.
It might not have been the most adventurous of adventures but that's fine by me. It was just as perfect as every other 'adventure' he's ever taken me on, if not even more so.
Perfection isn't something I would class as definable. My definition isn't going to be the same as the next person's. My perfection changes, right now it's waving the stars with Ashton Irwin but some days perfection is just waking up with Ash beside me.
Heya, short but sweet but I'm trying to write as many chapters as possible at once because I normally write the chapter the day I upload but I don't have time anymore so I'm writing loads of chapters at once so I'll always have something to upload that might not be rubbish and rushed.
Just saying first time in Acacia's POV in this book, exciting!!!!
