How to live alone

The big news

I lie in bed for what seems like 10 minutes just trying to think about what Jonah would tell me. Then I hear a knock on the door which brings me out of my trance . I run downstairs and open the door and there's Lily my BFF .
Lily : "hey gurl , i forgot my key at my house so I had to knock "
Me: " Jonah is on his way over here to bring me some type of news I don't know what it is so you have to leave !"
Just then another knock on the door and there's Jonah ! I rush Lily into our laundry room and say sshhhh !
Then I rush to the door so i could let Jonah in . He greets me with a smile and my bag of chips with a nice lemonade . How could I have forgotten my lemonade , good thing Jonah knows me better than me .
Jonah : " hey , here's your special for today and even better me !!"
I couldn't help but smile and take my "special" . I took the bag and went to the living room and put my things down . When I turned around Jonah was right behind and embraces me into a hug as soon as I rose .
Me : "ok , Jonah ! what's the big news "
I didn't mean to ruin the moment but that was bugging that he was tryna stall . "oh yeah.That !' Jonah says and then his smile fades alittle , and then my mind races . Was this the end or something and then I know it , he's going to break up with me .
Hopefully this isn't the end of us , but my heart doesn't really say the same . I think I love Jonah , honestly I don't know at this point .
Jonah : " Look , you know we've been together for a really long time and a lot of things have happened since then ."
Me:"yeah I know , so what's the news ."
Jonah : " baby the news is that , I can't be with you anymore "
I knew this was coming but as soon as it happened I jumped into the couch and just cried. Surprisingly when I stopped crying Jonah was still there , which made the awkwardness turn into tension.
Me : " Why would you do this to me !!!!! " I tried to bang on his chest like the movies , but I was too weak for those to have any affect on him.
Jonah : " Look , my mom got a new job wayyyyyy out in Colorado and she says that I'm not old enough to live by myself until the middle of next year ." I stand there in shock, how could this happen. Once Jonah notice my expression he cradles me until I break free and say " Well , i obviously can't do anything to change the circumstances. So give me some days to mourn for you then I'll call or text you . I love you Jonah, bye". I hugged him and and ran upstairs. How could my baby be leaving me?
