Queen Merida

Chapter Eight

"Merida"

Merida who was furiously shooting arrows turned around, Maudi gasped.

"What happened to you?" she asked

"It's Harris! He sneaked into mi room last night and put worms on mi bed. Ah felt so moist and weird when ah woke up! But ah can't do anything because mother said ah shouldn't lose control! So ah'm here pretending that this target is his face so ah can shoot mi arrows on it!" Merida ranted, breathing heavily afterwards. Maudi was petrified but still mumbled out the message she was sent.

"Your mother needs you soon" she said and backed away slowly, Merida sighed and dropped her bow and arrows and went to see her mother. She knocked on the door.

"Come in"

Merida opened the door to see her mom talking to someone that she couldn't recognize. There was a boy and a girl, the boy had auburn hair, a jolly smile on his face, long ears and fair skin. The girl had brown hair, fair skin and blue eyes.

"Mom?"
"You must be the queen. It's an honour to meet you" he said
"The... The pleasure is all mine? Uh... Mom who are these people"

"Oh mind my manners, I'm Peter pan and this is Wendy" he said gesturing to the girl "We are here to make an alliance against the Berks"

Merida's eyes widened, she had a smile plastered on her face "Really? Wow, what clan are ye from?"

"We're from Neverland, Wendy and I aren't actually the only ones who came. We have an army of native tribes on our side along with captain hook and his crew with their canons, we will be of great help to you and if you're wondering why we want to form an alliance... The Berks possess dragons that have a destructive history in Neverland and this is our chance to end it all"

"This is great! Where is dad, let's make the treaty so we can all sign!"

"Calm down Merida" Elinor finally spoke and stood up slowly to face all of them. "Peter and Wendy, I want you two to know that this war is serious and we want all the help we can get so, I will direct you know to our chief guard and you will show him all the weapons you have told us about and it will be tested as well"

Peter nodded "Yes your majesty"
"Great now let's go" Elinor lead them outside, Merida sighed then ran after them.

"Mom can we talk?"
"What is it?"

Merida pulled her to the side "Mother, there isn't much time now, we need all the help we can get"

"And Merida why should I listen to you? I mean your idea sounds ridiculous"

"Because ah'm queen mother and yer not. This is my decision and ye should trust mi on this mother"
"Merida I.."

Merida sighed and went to meet Peter and Wendy "There will no longer be need to test the weapons, please follow me to sign the treaty" she said and cast her mother a glance then walked away with them, Elinor's frown turned into a slow smile, her daughter was becoming the queen she dreamt she would be.

"So you have a fairy?" Rapunzel asked with surprise.
"Yes, come on out tink" he said then a glowing figure appeared from behind him, Rapunzel gasped with excitement while Merida's brothers were filling Wendy's brothers' heads with wicked ideas to pull on their sister once in a while, the boys were just glad to have someone to play with besides themselves...and dad's dogs.

"Her name is Tinkerbell, she's a fairy and my best friend"

Tinkerbell smiled and brought out her tiny hand for rapunzel to shake and she did then she flew over to Merida.

"Ah don't know... Ah feel uncomfortable....ah didn't know fairies were real"

"But you believe in the whisps" Rapunzel said with a sarcastic tone.

"They're not the same thing and besides, ah always thought fairies live far away from any human life"

"Come on mer, what did you think that they would have their own planet or something?" Rapunzel once again said with a sarcastic tone, Merida smirked.

"That's it" she charged towards rapunzel but Wendy held her back, Rapunzel ran behind Peter that was laughing hard at what was happening. Merida soon calm down and Wendy let her go.

"Anyways... Tinkerbell is a very smart fairy who happens to have fairy dust that can make people fly, show em tink"

Tinkerbell nodded and sprinkled some on Rapunzel she was smiling so wide when she caught herself leaving the ground.  She took control and flew around much to Harris, Hamish and Herbert's surprise then landed near Merida.

"That... Was... Amazing! You have to try it merida"

Merida smiled and Tinkerbell soon sprinkled fairy dust on her too, Merida was a bit unstable then she got control and flew around too, although behaving a bit childish by giving her brothers the raspberry. She landed and chuckled.

"That felt nice"

"Come on, you have to see lily"
"Who's lily?" Rapunzel asked
"Our native tribe friend, come on" peter said and they all followed him.
