(No its not the the Lauren Jauregui and Halsey one, I'm sorry if I disappointed someone whoops)
*Y/N's POV*
The next morning, I wake up with a smile on my face. I quickly get up from my bed and get ready. I walk into the kitchen and grab an apple off the counter.
I quickly give my cat food and pet the top of her head before walking towards the front door.
"Where are you going so early?" I hear my mom ask. "You better not be going to hang out with any of those people you call friends."
I turn and give her a fake smile. "I'm going to Starbucks," I reply. "And then shopping."
She nods and I bite my lip as I walk outside. I take a bite of my apple and make a mental note to come out to her and move out soon. It's not that I didn't want to move out but I knew my mom needed me around in some way and I didn't want to leave until I came out so here I was still stuck living in her homophobic household.
I sigh but shake those thoughts from my mind. The only thing I wanted to focus on was the brunette that was going to, hopefully, make me coffee. Alright so maybe the coffee was an excuse and I just truly wanted to see her again but that's beside the point.
I make my way towards Lauren's house and knock on the door. I throw my apple core in the trash can that's nearby while I wait for the door to open. I hear shuffling on the other side before the door swings open. I come face to face with a pair of green eyes and I smile.
"Oh you must be Y/N," she says. "I'm Dani, Lauren's younger and cooler sister."
"As if!" I hear Lauren yell. "Stop spreading lies, Danielle."
Dani rolls her eyes as she motions for me to come in. I walk into the house and give Lauren a small wave.
"Told you I'd come. Lauren," I say.
"I'm glad you came and that you figured out my name," Lauren says.
I roll my eyes at her comment and she winks.
"I'm glad you came too because if you hadn't come then I would have been woken up at seven in the morning for no reason," Dani says.
I raise an eyebrow at Lauren.
"She fell asleep on the couch that's why," Lauren explains.
I nod and Dani rolls her eyes. "The point is, she was very excited to make you coffee."
"Well then I hope that it's good," I say. "I expect it to be better than Brads."
"Oh trust me it is," Lauren says.
She takes my hand and leads me into the kitchen. I lean my back against the counter and watch as she gets the coffee ready. Dani walks in and takes a seat at the dining table.
"So," she says. "You're the person that made Lauren late yesterday."
"I wasn't late, Christina is just impatient."
"Whatever. She still yelled at me over the phone," Dani says as she rolls her eyes.
"How many siblings do you guys have?" I ask.
"Ten," Lauren says. "There's eleven kids in the family. Six girls, five boys. Dani's the youngest girl and Christina's the oldest girl."
My eyes widen at the thought of growing up with that many siblings. "Dang, I can't tell if that sounds really fun or like a nightmare."
"A bit of both," Dani says. "You get used to the chaos."
Lauren hands me a glass of iced coffee before taking a seat next to Dani. "Stop being weird and sit down," she says patting the chair next to her.
