Y/N's P.O.V

I move my face, bringing our lips closer when a loud clapping noise scares the crap out of me. I jump backwards and end up falling off her bed and landing on the ground.

I groan as Lisa and Dani walk into the room. "Lauren that idea you had for the harmonies is genius," Lisa says.

"Uh what are you doing on the floor, Y/N?" Dani asks.

"Oh you know just chilling," I reply. "It's not like you scared the crap out of me or something."

"What were you doing that made you get so scared?" Lisa asks, her famous smirk making a comeback.

"Thinking about the easiest way to beat you up without getting in trouble," I reply.

She glares at me and I laugh as I move to sit back on Lauren's bed. Dani and Lisa both sit on the ground in front of us.

"So what are you rats up to?" Dani asks.

"Just talking," I reply as I look over at Lauren. She blushes and I can't help but grin.

"Sureee," Lisa says, dragging out the e clearly not believing me. "Anyway, Dani and I are gonna chill with you guys because we want to."

I give her a thumbs up and lay down with my head on Lauren's lap. She smiles down at me and I feel my cheeks heat up. I can't believe I was so close to actually kissing her. More importantly, she didn't seem completely appalled by the idea of kissing me. Does that mean Lisa was right? Ugh, she's never gonna let me hear the end of it.

I watch her as she talks to her sisters about something that I wasn't paying attention to. I could listen to her voice for hours and not get sick of it. The gentleness of it, her gorgeous laugh that I would do anything to hear, the way she bites her lip whenever she's thinking. I said I wasn't going to fall for her but she really give me any other choice.

I can't help the sigh that escapes my lips and Lauren looks down at me. She catches me staring and blushes. She quickly looks away and I bite my bottom lip. Her hands find their way to my hair and she starts playing with it. I smile at her cuteness before deciding to actually join the conversation.

"Y/N, are you even listening?" Dani asks.

"What?" I ask turning my face to look at the green-eyed girl.

"You weren't even listening!"

"She was too busy staring at Lauren," Lisa teases.

"Shut up I was thinking about something," I reply with an eye roll.

"Yeah, Lauren."

"Can you throw a pillow at her for me, lady?"

Lauren laughs before nodding and throwing one of her pillows at Lisa. Lisa tries to catch it but it ends up hitting her in the face and I laugh.

"Anyways, what were you talking about Dan?"

"Oh yeah, I was saying that we should have a jam session one of these days. We could even teach Lauren a little something," Dani says.

"I'm sure Y/N wants to teach Lauren lots of things," Lisa mumbles.

"I hate you," I say while glaring at Lisa.

"You love me," she says. I roll my eyes at her and she sticks her tongue out at me.

"Pretty sure she loves Lauren more," Dani says.

"Oh my god!" I turn and hide my face in Lauren's stomach. "Please let me go home."

Lauren laughs and continues playing with my hair. "I think it's cute," she whispers so only I can hear.
