I wake up and groan as the sunlight hits my eyes. Why is the world so bright in the morning? It's unnecessary.

I turn over and grab my phone. I check the time, 10:30 not bad. I smile when I see a notification from Lauren sent at 7 am? Wow that girl wakes up early.

Lauren☕🧡: Good morning, Y/N
Lauren☕🧡: You're probably still asleep, oops

I bite my lip at the thought of the brown eyed girl. At the thought of her lips that I almost kissed last night.

You: wow a text at 7 am? Either you wake up really early or you're obsessed with me, lady

I put my phone back down with a sigh. I quietly cheer once I realize that I didn't have anything super important to do today, which meant I could just relax and text a certain brown eyed girl. Or you know go out and buy groceries but the first one seems better.

I feel my phone buzz next to me and I smile at Lauren's response.

Lauren☕🧡: uh the first one obviously, you dork
Lauren☕🧡: oh and Lisa really wants your number is it cool if I give it to her?
You: of freaking course! She can have my cat if she wants
Lauren☕🧡: 🙄 you're so weird
You: you know you love it ;)
Lauren☕🧡: ...
You: Hey! Don't be mean :(

I get up from my bed as I wait for her reply and decide to be productive. I make my bed before going into the bathroom to shower.

Lauren's P.O.V

"Oooh who you texting?" I hear Dani ask. I can practically hear her smirk in her voice.

"Y/N," I reply not looking up from my phone.

"Oh, so that's why you won't stop smiling," she says taking a seat on my right side. Lisa was currently on my left typing in Y/N's number.

"What do you mean?" I ask my younger sister.

"You've been non-stop smiling for like the past five minutes."

"She's right," Lisa speaks up. "You literally stopped talking right in the middle of your sentence to text her back, Laur."

I roll my eyes. "Well that's called being nice," I reply.

"Sure, Jan. All I know is that you never smile that much when you text someone," Lisa says.

"Well 'cause unlike you guys she's not annoying."

"Okay now you're just being mean, Sugar."

Katherine walks in from the kitchen and says,"I know you guys are taking a break but Christina really wants us to finish the cover so we don't have to worry about it later in the week."

"Oh!" I exclaim sitting up, an excited smile on my face. "I finally figured out what the harmony should actually be 'cause you know it was sounding weird but I know what we can do."

"Well go tell Christina you rat," Lisa says. "I'll text Y/N when she gets back."

"Or I could just take my phone with me," I suggest.

"Not a chance, sweetheart. Now give me."

I roll my eyes but hand Lisa my phone. She shoos me away and Dani sends me a wink. I walk away from them, choosing to trust them. I really hope they don't do anything stupid but knowing them that's impossible.

I walk out of the bathroom feeling way less gross than thirty minutes ago. I grab my phone and smile at the notification staring back at me.
