"Look who's finally here!" Lisa yells after she opens the door. "One out of our two lovebirds. And she's late."

I roll my eyes as I step inside. Leave it to Lisa to make fun of me as soon as she opened the door.

"No surprise there," Dani says as I walk closer to her. "It'd be shocking if Lauren wasn't late."

"Can both of you just shut up for once?" I ask as I take a seat on the couch next to Katherine. "You guys are annoying."

"I wish they could," Christina says. "They won't stop talking about you and Y/N."

"Why are you guys talking about me and my girlfriend?" I ask. Even though I'm already annoyed with my sisters, there's no way for me to hide the smile on my face as I say the word girlfriend.

"Because we want to know what happened on your date," Amy says. I glare at her and she gives me an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Laur, but I can't say I'm not curious about it too."

"Aren't we supposed to be doing work?" I ask, hoping to change the subject.

"Yes," Christina replies. "But that can wait, now tell us about your date."

I roll my eyes at her but comply with their wishes anyway. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dying to talk about my date. "Fine, fine. What do you want to know?"

"Literally everything," Amy says. "Dani and Lisa didn't tell us anything."

"Oh, so you can keep what our date was a secret but you couldn't keep the fact that I like Y/N to yourself?" I ask Lisa.

Her eyes widen as she turns to face Dani. "Did you tell her about that?"

"Duh, did you really think I wasn't going to tell her you let the secret slip? You had one job, Lise, one job."

"Hey, at least it made her kiss you sooner so you're welcome. I am a matchmaker, I expect to be thanked at your wedding."

"Whatever you say, Lise." I try to not roll my eyes but fail due to how irritating my older sister is. Am I actually grateful she slipped up and told Y/N I and liked her so she could get a move on and tell me she liked me back? Yes, but I can't tell her that because she'll never let me forget it.

"Stop stalling and tell us already," Christina says. "Don't act like you're not dying to tell us how amazing Y/N is."

"Okay, okay, we actually took a huge step together." I pause for dramatic effect and take in Lisa's impatient face. "We said I love you for the first time."

I wince as my sister's shriek in surprising harmony at my words. They start excitedly speaking over each other and I can't help but smile. Sure, they're super annoying but they're also my sisters and seeing them so excited over Y/N and I reassured their acceptance of our relationship.

"Guys!" Dani yells. "Let Lauren talk, how did you guys say it? Actually, no, who said it first? Please tell me it was you."

I raise an eyebrow at her. "Why are you so desperate? Please don't tell me you and Lisa did something stupid like bet on who was going to say it first."

"That is exactly what we did," Lisa says. "Don't look at us like that, Laur, you know we're the captain and co-captain of Y/S/N. Now tell us who said it first."

"I did," I say. Lisa's jaw slacks open while Dani's eyes widen. "Don't look so surprised Lisa!"

"You owe me twenty bucks!" Dani triumphantly yells. "I told you Lauren was going to say it first."
