Dreams!!

The sunlight pours through my window. I have just gotten back from Camp Half-Blood. It is early, no later than seven. I went to the party honoring the defeat of Gaea, (I left early,)although my spirt wasn't in the party. It was back at Camp Half-Blood. I miss my friends, but I have duties as praetor.

The Romans were surprised that Frank is praetor instead of Jason. Although, I am confident they will respect him greatly. The sound of the cohorts laughing echoes into my cabin. I know that I should be outside to celebrate, but I must sleep. I pull on my Camp Half-Blood shirt that Annabeth gave me and drift to sleep, not knowing that dream visions(all demigods have them) are coming.

*dreams*

Sleep takes me off into dreamland. I see my friends at Camp Half-Blood. Annabeth and Percy dancing at the party at Camp Half-Blood, Jason and Piper holding hands and talking. Nico and Will Solace drinking punch in the corner. This is where I should be. I think. No, I shouldn't be here. Camp Jupiter is my home. Or is it? Why am I having second thoughts? Jason and Percy have their girls. None of them need me! This conversation with myself volleys back and forth.

I drift over to Nico and Will Solace. "Will, I wish the Romans were still here." Says Nico. "Because of Reyna? You too seemed pretty close, Nico. You have a home here, don't go to New Rome."

"No, I am staying here. Reyna and I went through a lot together and I wish we were at the same camp." Replies Nico. "Nico, sometimes things just are how they are. More punch?"

"Sure." Says Nico, but his eyes wander off somewhere else. Is Nico the only person here that misses me? Piper and Annabeth are my good friends, but they don't need me. Does Nico?

"Reyna, it's time for your speech! Wake up!"Says a voice, not in my dream. I open my eyes and in front of me is Hazel. "Yeah, let me get changed." I say. She nods and I have one thought for the rest of the night: Nico di Angelo is a friend that needs me.
