meow, put your

when you're free 😉He sighed loudly, rolling his eyes as he locked his phone, focusing only on the beat in his ears from his earphones. He couldn't be dealing with her, even through text.
Momentarily, he cursed himself for taking the easy route because Sohye suddenly didn't feel so easy. Jungkook had never been to so many social events in his life, he felt as though he was pimping himself out.
And for what? A ridiculous challenge.
The temptation to call it off swelled in his chest, but he pushed it away. He was going to win.
Just as he was about to put his key into the front door, it swung open with a force and his eyes widened, caught off guard as his sister stormed past him.
"Oh, that's right! Run off because you can't take the heat, I don't even know why I still bother!" Her boyfriend yelled after her, gripping onto the threshold as his hard eyes followed the woman walking away.
"What... happened?" Jungkook asked, trying to grasp what the scene that unfolded in front of him.
Dongjin scoffed, shaking his head vehemently, "She spent half of the rent money on lottery tickets again, and then gets angry when I get angry after finding out."
Jungkook's heart sunk in his chest, but he tried to keep his face blank, "I thought she was getting better."
"Yeah, I thought so too," Dongjin mumbled with a tired sigh, rubbing his eyes.
Wordlessly, Jungkook pulled his wallet out of his backpack, picking out the small card with his bank details on, "There's about 600,000 won in my account, it should be enough to cover whatever she's spent."
Dongjin's expression softened, though it was mixed with conflict, "I can't do that, Jungkook. That's all your savings."
"It's fine."
"You need it to move out."
"You need it more. I'll move out when my sister is better."
Reluctantly. Dongjin took the card, "Thank you for this, really."
Jungkook offered a small smile before stepping back, "I think I'm gonna stay out tonight. You two need space... and so do I."
Nodding his head in understanding, Dongjin muttered a farewell to the younger male before closing the door as Jungkook began to walk away.
He had never felt so heavy. Like a weight was pressing down on his shoulders, forcing him to be anchored to the reality where his sister had a gambling problem and his entire family was falling apart. He couldn't even remember the last time his parents even bothered to drop him a text. It may not have been right, or even healthy, but talking to other girls, sleeping with them, it was a distraction, a few hours where he could be himself without having to worry about anyone else.
But right now, that was the last thing on his mind.
He stopped by a park and sat on one of the swings, relishing in his own solitude before he came to the conclusion that perhaps being on his own wasn't a good idea. He checked the time; it was approaching 1am and he knew Namjoon and Jimin well enough to know there was absolutely no way they'd be awake right now, and Taehyung is a nightmare to get hold of after 10pm.
Sighing, he messaged the only other person he could probably stand.
