"For the love of god, get your god damn elbow out of my ass."
"I can't!"
"Then admit defeat!" Sooyoung growled, looking directly at the face below her, her limbs precariously stretched around his body, and her left leg was somehow tucked beneath his back. Her arms began to tremble from holding her own weight up for so long, but she kept her expression tense, her teeth gritting together.
Jungkook could only look up at her with a snicker, "I think you're the one that's about to admit defeat." Noting how she was struggling to stay in position, all with her hands and feet remaining on her the right circles, he knew she wouldn't last much longer, "It's your turn, Choi."
"Shut up, I know it is." Jutting her tongue out between her lips, she tentatively removed her left hand from beneath Jungkook's suspended body and reached for the spinny board. It was her idea to play twister in the first place, but she never counted on them both lasting so long. Whenever she played against Jimin and Yeji they were usually out by the fifth turn. She had been playing this with Jungkook for twelve rounds now and personal space no longer existed, but neither was prepared to lose.
Flicking the dial with her finger, she watched as the arrow slowed down; left foot, red circle.
She sighed. The red circles were right next to her, so it would have been easy... if Jungkook wasn't beneath her. Three of his limbs were all in the blue column, which was the one she was hovering over.
"Okay," She muttered to herself, slowly lifting her foot off the yellow circle. She tried to stretch it beneath Jungkook, but she wasn't flexible enough and the gap wasn't wide enough, so with a diligent grumble, she attempted to lift her up over him, but the sudden movement was too much and her arms gave way, making her yelp in the process.
She closed her eyes as she braced for the impact, groaning as she felt her leg catch beneath Jungkook's back. Opening her eyes, she looked down at him with a scowl as he smiled triumphantly, "I win. Now get off me."
Narrowing her eyes, she seethed, "I can't, your fat ass has my leg pinned down."
Jungkook gasped dramatically, "You really think my ass is fat?" He feigned offense, his eyebrows pinching upwards.
"I do," Sooyoung replied without missing a beat, still trying to free her leg, though it was all in vain. Sighing loudly, her head dipped and her hair flopped into Jungkook's face, strands falling into his mouth.
He tilted his head to the side, trying to blow them out, "If I'd want hair in my face, I'd keep growing mine out," He whined, "Right, right. You need to find a way out of this since it was your idea in the first place."
"I didn't force you to play, Jeon." Sooyoung scowled. "Okay, I'm going to try and sit up, but you need to sit up with me."
"Why?"
Feeling her patience wear thin, her teeth ground together, "Because I can't support my own weight when we look like Jenga blocks."
Huffing, Jungkook raised his torso as Sooyoung sat up, her hands clutching his shoulders so she didn't lose her balance and end up twisting her leg. By some miracle, they managed to both get into a sitting position. Technically, Sooyoung was straddling Jungkook's waist with her leg still underneath him, but at least now he could slide out.
As he went to free them both, he paused, glancing up at her face with quizzical eyes. Her hair was still a mess and her thick brows knitted tightly in frustration, but he kind of liked it; how she wore who she was on her sleeve, bold and unapologetically. She didn't try to be different and she didn't try to conform. She was just her. She was just... Sooyoung.
