Alex walks into CatCo and makes her way up to James Olsen's office, hoping she'd catch him at a good time. She checks in, brings up his favorite coffee, and gives him her biggest smile when she sees him.

"Jimmy Olsen." Alex beams, walking into the office.

"Alexandra Danvers." James calls back, bringing her into a hug. "It's been a hot minute, how are you?"

"Ehhh I could be better." Alex jokes, taking a seat. "And as much as I wish I came for a quick catch up... I was wondering if you could help us with something."

"As a friend or as an agent?"

"Both." Alex sighs. "Lex Luthor is still running the business and we finally have a lead. All we have to do now is catch him in the act and arrest his ass."

"Alex... you know I don't help you with cases involving Lex. I almost got killed the last time I tried to help Clark catch him."

"I know... but this isn't about catching Lex. This is about Kara."

"What do you mean?" James questions, suddenly intrigued.

"After you and her broke up in high school, she got together with Lena Luthor and-"

"Wait wait wait, the Lena Luthor?! You can't be serious?" James states, sitting up a little straighter.

"Yes and don't, she's not like the rest of them. Trust me my reaction was the same as yours until I really got to know her." Alex explains, taking a sip of water. "Because my sister was stupid and in love, Lena ended up getting pregnant and she had the babygirl. Her name is Maia."

"Okay and what exactly does that have to do with catching Lex?"

"For those months Lena was pregnant,
Kara had no idea. She only found out when Maia showed up at her door step with a letter and cash. Lena wanted to protect Maia from Luthor Legacy and handed her over to Kara in hopes to get her away from it all. But we know Lex, it's not long till he finds out the truth. That babygirl doesn't deserve to be living with a target on her back. She deserves a happy and safe life with both of her parents. And you James a key part to that happy life. So will you help us?"

"Alright... but I'm only doing this for Kara and the baby."

"I knew you'd understand." Alex beams, flashing him a giant smile. "I'll keep you updated on the case and I'll let you know when we need you. And Kara can't know about any of this. Lena wanted to make sure the two of them were as far away from this as possible and both Eliza and I agree."

"Understood Agent Danvers."

"Thank you James. We'll be in touch."

Alex walks out of the office and James immediately, let's out an angering breath. He walks over to the mini bar and downs a whole glass of scotch as a pang of jealously washes over him. How could she get together with her? Does she not know her family? He takes a few deep breaths and texts Kara, hoping he'd be able to come over and talk.

"Babygirl it's way past your bed time please go to sleep. Mama is tired." Kara singsongs.

The baby continues to cling onto the crib and flashes her Mama a strange look for her weird expressions. The door bell rings and she quickly picks up Maia and makes her way over to see who it is. James Olsen. She hasn't spoken to him in almost a year. Taking in a deep breath, she opens the door and awaits for his shocked face at the baby girl in her arms.

"Kara hi! Long time no see." James beams, lifting up a bag. "I brought over some potstickers. Still your favorite right? I was hoping we'd could talk for a bit."
