Kara watches as the door shuts and swallows hard as she realizes what could be happening next. She does her best to put on a straight face and takes a deep breath, she could do this.

"So Miss Evans, how was your evening?"

"Better now that you're here." She states walking towards the girl.

"I'm glad to hear that." Vivian smirks, leaning in for a kiss. Kara melts into it quickly, knowing it's what she had to do. "Come on, lets go to the better suite. A lady like you deserves so much better."

Kara gives her a mischievous grin as she follows the woman down the hall and into a door. Before they even get inside, Vivian rams her against the wall and plants kisses all over her. Kara does her best to accept it and make it seem like she enjoyed it. Soon, Vivian opens the door and shoves her through, allowing only Kara to enter the room. Kara lands on the floor and feels herself getting pulled up by two men as she hears the sound of the door click locked. She is put into a chair and is immediately handcuffed to it.

"I'm sure this is not how you expected your evening to go Miss Evans... or in this case Miss Danvers." Lex smirks, walking up to her.

"What are you talking-"

"Don't play dumb with me Kara, we both know I hold the cards here." Lex replies, pacing around the room. He excuses the other two men and is left alone with Kara. "What you didn't think I would recognize that something wasn't going on? Do you see me as that much a fool?"

"No I-"

"Well clearly you do but that's okay." Lex smirks, as one of the guards hands him a gun. "Leave me. This is a family matter."

The guards nod and leave him alone with Kara, standing right in front of the door on the other side. He presses the gun against Kara's head and she swallows hard, praying that he doesn't pull the trigger. "You and my sister... all this time I knew she had a secret girlfriend, she was always running off to Paris and coming back happy and all this other nonsense. It was distracting her from her work. The legacy that the past 3 generations have worked hard so incredibly hard to build. Your parents already ruined us, I'm not going to let you do it too."

He shoves the gun closer to her head and pulls the trigger down. She knows Maia will be okay. She knows Lena will make all the sacrifices to make sure Maia is safe. Kara closes her eyes and sees all the good that has come out of her life. The Danvers. Flora's. Paris. Lena. Maia. A cycle of memories, laughter, and smiles run through her mind as she takes a deep breath in and prepares for the absolute worst. Suddenly a loud bang goes off and causes Kara to flinch in her seat. Opening her eyes, she finds Lex on the floor, clinging onto his leg as Lena is holding a gun and running towards Kara.

"Lena?" Kara whimpers, with tears falling down her eyes.

"Shhh I know babe. It's over, come on."  Lena reassures, taking her out of the handcuffs. She pulls Kara out of the chair and Kara immediately wraps her arms around her, scared of all that just happened.

"I was so scared." Kara cries, clinging on for dear life.

"You were incredible. I really missed you."

"I miss-"

Another loud bang goes off and Kara looks down at her gown, seeing that the royal blue is now covered in a deep red. She looks over at Lena and sees the woman clutching her stomach before collapsing in her arms.

"No no no. Lena! Lena!" Kara screams, looking over at Lex. She notices the evil grin on his face as he points the gun towards her next.

"My sister was never a real Luthor. Two birds one stone am I right? You two really do deserve each other." Lex smirks. Kara looks down at Lena's bloody hand and grabs the gun out of it. Before she could even comprehend what she is about to do, she points the gun at Lex and shoots him right in the chest. Lex immediately falls back and drops his gun, setting it off towards the ceiling.

"Kara?"

"Lena hey hey. It's me. I'm here. Alex should be here soon. Stay with me okay? I'm here. Please Lena."

"I love you. Take care of our girl."

"Lena... Lena come on. Lena please don't go. I love you."

Lena's eyes rolls backwards and slowly close as Kara breaks out into hysterics. Alex and her team arrive upstairs 3 minutes later and quickly get Lena out of the room while beginning investigation on the scene. Alex takes Kara with her in her car and follows the ambulance to the hospital in total silence. Once they arrive, Kara follows Lena's stretcher towards the ER and listens in on her updates.

"What's going on? What's going to happen to her?"

"Ma'am are you if any relation towards this woman?"

"She's my girlfriend yes. Is she going to be okay?"

"We need to do surgery on her to repair her lung and stop the internal bleeding. It's hard to say but our team is going to do the best they can to make sure she gets out of here alive."

Kara nods and watches in horror as Lena is being wheeled off to surgery. Alex walks over to her younger sister and holds her as she crashes onto the floor, crying her heart out.

"Come on Kara. Lena's a fighter. It'll be okay."

"I lost her once Alex, I don't think I can ever do it again."

I'm so so so so sorry for this super short and pretty lame chapter. It was definitely not worth the long ass wait and I'm so sorry. I was not expecting to be having writers block for that long but I tried my best to give y'all something. Hopefully from here on out it gets better and more entertaining.
