He held her face and kissed her lips while she held his elbows and kissed him back.
"You talk too much." He said after breaking the kiss "I went to a meeting with Afreen and Padma I said I didn't want to go on with their plan and that they can sue me, I don't care. All I care about is you... talking about you, I didn't tell to the girls what you are to me because I want to tell it to everyone in a press conference. I won't let you down Surbhi whether you were pregnant or not, I learned from my mistake and I'm not ready to lose you." Surbhi opened her mouth and closed it repeatedly. She was just in shock to hear his revelations.
"You gave up... You gave up this role... for me?"
"And for who else silly?" He nudged her arm playfully before holding her waist.
"My mind took too long to understand what my heart already knows," He took a baby voice, ... well, he tried his best to do so, "Nakuul is nothing without Surbhi!" Surbhi suddenly burst into tears and he took her in his arms, worryingly.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing! Everything is perfect but I can't just help it." She sobbed in the crook of his neck and he smiled, knowing very well that it might be her pregnancy hormones.
"Damn I love you so much!" He kissed the top of her head and after she calmed down, they joined their friends and had their lunch. Since Mansi and Neha had classes in the afternoon, Nakuul dropped them off to the University and invited Shrenu over with Surbhi's approval of course.
"Well ladies, I just received a message! My pal from high school wants to come over, is it okay with you?" Nakuul enquired.
"Sure, who is he by the way?" Surbhi asked while munching some popcorn.
"Omkara Oberoi..." Nakuul said and Surbhi squealed.

"THE Omkara Oberoi?" She asked and he nodded while Shrenu was lost.
"He seems to be a famous one.." Shrenu wriggled her brows and Annika sighed.
"Om was the heartthrob in our high school, his long hair, his kindness, his mesmerizing eyes... Everything in him screamed hotness overload!" Surbhi blabbered until her dear husband cleared his throat.
"That would be great if you're not praising another man's look in front of your hubby right?" She pinched his cheek while they all sat together on the couch, with Shrenu sitting next to Surbhi, who was resting her head on Nakuul's lap and he was stroking the side of her belly absentmindedly.
While the girls were engrossed in the movie, Nakuul was again thinking of her revelations... he couldn't believe that they were going to be parents. As he was thinking about it, the fears began to invade his mind. She was just at the genesis of her life as a lawyer and he didn't have any valuable job at the moment... how could they afford a child?
