*nickis pov*

I was utterly confused "what's going on?" I ask the pair as I walk closer to them "H-Hey Nicki!" Zane says smiling like a dork "Hey Zane, again what's happening?" I ask as I see Aphmau smile at me then grab our bags and run off into the mall again. "Well you see I asked Aph to bring you here so we could have lunch together.. If you're okay with that!" He says quickly smiling at me "Oh yeah of course!" I agree taking my spot in the seat across from him finally realizing the layout of food, all of my favourites and more. "Wow Zane this is amazing thank you!" I say happily as I look up at him he nods and hands me a fork and a knife encouraging me to eat up. We fell into a deep conversation about school and our life's but I knew something  was up with him he kept taping his feet and scratching his neck. "Zane I'm going to cut you off, are you okay  you seem nervous?" I ask as he started rambling twiddling his fingers. He looks up at me and sighs before clearing our table "Can we talk outside it's getting warm in here?" He asks standing up and reaching for my hand. "Yeah sure." I smile and take his hand walking into the parking lot with him, he stops by his car and takes both of my hands in his looking me in the eyes "Nicki, I know we've only became good friendship this year but schools out and I wanted to ask and tell you something.." he says softly his eyes holding an emotion that I couldn't interpret "What is it Zane? Are you okay?" I ask quite confused "Yeah! It nothing like that I just.. Imma just say it, I like you!" He stammers quickly before dropping my hands. I stare at him dumbfounded before a giant smile breaks out on my face "I like you too Zane." I tell him sticking my hands in the pockets of my jeans "you do.?!Really?" He asks his eyes lighting up and what I could see of his cheeks turned pink. I nodded and he pulled me into a hug before whispering "I like like you Nicki Hofe." I hug him back and rest my head on his shoulder whispering back to him "I like like you too Zane Ro'Meve." We pull away from the hug and he takes my hand before leading me to his car "Do you wanna go to the park?" He asks opening the door to his car for me "Yeah I'd love to Zane." I get in the car and he follows suit before driving to the Central Park. "Should I tell Aphmau that I left?" I ask turning my head to look at Zane "I think she might've figured that out already nick." He says his gaze focused on the road, I nod and enjoy the passing scenery before he pulls into a parking space and gets out of the car I follow him out and down one of the paths, he takes my hand as we walk along the foot trails throughout the park. I stop in front of a patch of wild tulips "Zane look how pretty they are." I say as I squat down to sniff them "Very pretty.." he says softly glancing at me before he looks at the flowers. A small blush creeps onto my face as I stand up again to take his hand he interlocks out fingers as we continue down the trails "This is really nice and peaceful thank you Zane." I say leaning against him as we take a seat on a bench that over looks a small stream that runs through the middle of the park "Your welcome nick this is really nothing." He says wrapping his arm around my shoulder "Nicki can I ask you a question?" He asks turning his head to look at me "Yeah of course Zane." I reply looking up at him "Nicki, Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks biting the inside of his cheek "Zane—"
