(Btw Nicki was knocked out through the night, so it's the next day)

Nickis pov

Arriving home without Kacy is weird, it's usually so bright and happy in here but it seems as if an imaginary cloud of dread and gloomy ness settled over our house. "I'm gonna go inside and to my room." Katelyn said "ok" I say as I get out of the car. My dad follows Katelyn inside as I sit on one of the lawn chairs on the deck. I just sit and breath for a few minutes trying not to bawl my eyes out. After a good twenty minutes of breathing Jeffery comes walking up our driveway with his hands in his jeans pockets. "Hi Nicki how are you holding up he says as he takes a seat next to me on the other chair. "Well I guess I could be worse, but I'm just scared for Kacy." I reply staring at Jeffery, "I guess that's ok, but what all happened Katelyn just told me that Kacy fell down the stairs smacked his head and was put in the hospital for intensive care." Jeffery speaks staring back at me in an older brother kinda way. "That's pretty much the very sweet and short version of what happened Jeff." I said "oh wow, what all happened to the dude then nick." Jeffery asks me "I guess I could tell you or you could ask Katelyn about it." I reply Jeffery contemplates this decision but says "Nicki I rather you tell me so I don't have to see Katelyn so upset." "Very well then Jeffery. "Ok so what happened was that we were about to have dinner so we called for Kacy, he cane running tripped or something and fell down the stairs hitting a few with his head, he landed on his shoulder and arm which took most of the shock but he still smacked his head on the floor giving himself a concussion, what we found out once the paramedics saw him was that he has a broken arm and fractured shoulder as well as a concussion, in the ambulance on the way there I don't remember any thing because I blacked out, but after I woke up I was in a hospital room and it was the next morning," I say sniffling "wow, um gosh I don't know what to say to that, but I feel something bigs gonna happen huh?" Jeffery cuts in "ya, well after I woke up there was a nurse who came in said I was fine then our dad came to tell us something it was that Kacy, well he has amnesia, and when we went to see him he remembered Katelyns name and who our dad was but he thought I was just some kid from school, not even his sister A FRICKEN KID FROM SCHOOL!!" I scream as I start to cry and bawl my eyes out. I feel my self becoming embraced by a pair of muscular arms, a hug from Jeffery I cried into his shirt and tried calming myself down. After a few minutes my crying was down to just sniffles. I sat there wiping my face as Jeffery rubbed my back for some comfort. "It will be ok nicki at least Kacy can remember some parts of his family he might remember some memories and remember who you are nick, he couldn't of completely forgotten you your too beautiful and carding and special to forget, and I mean that in the best way possible." Jeffery says giving me another hug. "I'll leave you to think nicki, is Katelyn inside and I'm her room." He asks "yes she is, and Jeffery?" I ask "yes nick." He reply's staring at me "Thank you, for looking out for me and Katelyn." I say "Forever and always." Jeffery reply's as he opens the door and smiles at me. Jeffery walks in the house and closes the door behind him as he ascends the stairs. I walk inside and leave a big bright note on the counter saying "hey dad or Kate I'm going to a friends house if you need anything or want me home please call me.

I walk out the front door of our house and down the street a few houses down from ours and stand in front of one of the bigger houses on our street on the side walk, as I study the outside of the house I prepare my self to knock on the door of the residence of the Ro'Meves house.
