Monica'sP.O.V.
I stepped out of the house, into the starting-to-be-chilly night air. Brandon and I were going to the movies tonight to see a horror movie. We were arguing which one to watch and then we came up with scary ones. I couldn't refuse. I loved horror movies, despite the screams they make ne let out.
October was kind of a good month for me since the air was starting to be a little chilly, not hot, not cold, juuust right.
I decided to walk to the theater since it was kinda close to the house and besides, it could help me save gas money and it helps the environment.
The street wasn't that crowded and it wasn't that deserted tonight. It was perfectly imperfectly right. Everything seems okay for now but I hope this street wouldn't be deserted when I go home tonight because that'd be a total disaster for me because of my imaginative thinking. Let's just say, I visualize that someone is following me after watching a horror movie, especially at night.
I was humming along the streets with my hands deeply buried in the pockets of my jeans. When I reached the cinemas, I adjusted my beanie and fixed my woolen sweater and finally entered.
The place was the total opposite of packed, if it weren't for some people lounging at the snacks bar, I would've thought that this place was closed permanently. It was almost empty!
This used to be packed with people of diferent kinds, I used to go here with mom and dad to watch movies almost every Sunday, but ever since the divorce, a lot of things changed including our Sunday bondings so I never really got to go here often anymore. If this place was so empty before I went here, I wouldn't have known.
"Finally, the princess arrives." a familiar voice says from behind me. I look to see Brandon sitting on a snack table.
"Hey. I walked here, just so you know." I said moving over to sit with him.
"Okay. So, I bought the tickets and we can just sit down here, talk and eat or something for 20 more minutes." Brandon informed me.
"I heard the movie was scarier than The Conjuring. And that's saying a lot." I said, getting a fry from Brandon's food.
"Great. That's my food, you should get your own." Brandon responded, looking down at his food and pulling it away from me.
I pouted childishly, "Meanie." I said, standing up.
"Buy me a can of Dr Pepper too please." Brandon called out as I headed to the snacks bar. I rolled my eyes but decided to buy it anyway.
I bought a load of food from the snacks bar which included 5 Snickers Bar, a large popcorn, a large fries and a large pack of Cheetos. I also got a can of Dr. Pepper and Coke.
"Brandon. Help me with these, please?" I asked Brandon, calling him over.
He stood up and grabbed the popcorn, fries and the Cheetos. I grabbed the rest and went to sit down on the table.
