After the assembly was over Kyla left immediately. I called after her and she just kept walking. Calum, James and I headed to one of the picnic tables outside the main entrance and i text Kyla. I sent her "Hey Ky saw u left early hope ur ok ly girl xx", but heard nothing back.
The three of us decided to go to Grads Diner, a diner just down the road from the school, after school and James invited a friend. I text Kyla to invite her but she left me on read.
The next 2 periods went by so slowly and all I could think about was what was up with Kyla. I kept replaying everything that went on in my head and couldn't come up with a reason for her to be so pissed.
I saw Kyla at lunch and she came up to me and gave me a hug. She apologised for acting off and said she would love to pop to Grads with everyone after school. We grabbed a seat at the table Calum and James were sitting at. We all started discussing what subjects and classes we had in common and it turned out Calum and I had almost every class in common. I couldn't help but smile at him and kept forcing myself to look at Ky so nobody caught on that i liked Calum.
