Part 8 : "Sino si Guy?"

Narrator's POV ~

Naalipungatan si Kass at nalaman niyang nasa isang pamilyar na lugar siya naroroon.

Puting pintura, puting unan, bedsheets, curtains, sahig.

Dun niya nalamang nasa loob siya ng kwarto sa ospital. She didn't know how'd she got there. All she know was, she was at the mall at nakita niya si Dandrei at hindi na niya maalala ang sumunod.

She was alone. Kunot noong nakatingin sa kawalan habang tinatanong ang sarili kung paano siya naparito.

Maya-maya'y may pumasok sa loob at yon ay ang Doctor.

"How are you feeling hija? My nurse has been checking you for about 3 hours now." The Doctor said.

Tumingin siya sa Doctor.

"I'm fine naman po. But can I ask you a question?" She asked.

"Sure."

"Paano po ako naparito? I can't remember when and how I got here.. Ano po yung nangyari?"

The Doctor smiled at her question and stepped closer to her.

"A Guy brought you here. He didn't told me his name, ayaw daw niyang sabihin. But the reason kung bakit nandito ka is because.. You fainted back at the Mall. That's what Guy told me."

Napaisip naman si Kassandra. Sino si Guy?

"Can you describe me his face po?" She ask again.

"I must admit. He's handsome. He's tall and fit. Probably, your age. Baka nga kilala mo yun. Because, he knows your name. Kassandra, right?" The Doctor asked and she nodded.

"Anyway, I'm Doctor Lianne. And you fainted because of over fatigue. Have you been working on something tapos nakaka-stress?" Doctor Lianne asked.

Kassandra looked at the ceiling and think kung ano ang nagawa niya this week.

"Yes. I remembered!" She chirped out.

"May ginawa po pala ako last monday. Yung practice. Projects at puyat." She added.

"I see. And... Have you been into drinking alcohol?" Doctor Lianne asked her again.

She slowly nodded as if she was guilty of what she had done last night.

"I drank last night, Doc."

"Kaya ganun. Something triggered inside you and that causes much of  stress and depression."

"Sorry,Doc."

"Don't worry, I understand. But don't dare do it again. At baka makikita mo nanaman ulit ako."

"Yes po." She said and smiled.

"Good. You can go na. Sign the papers sa baba na lang. Thank that Guy if you see him." Doc Lianne said and left the room.

"Teka, Doc! Paano ko—" pero bago pa siya makatapos sa sasabihin niya, narinig niya ang pagkasara ng pinto at tuluyan nang lumabas ang Doctor.

"Paano ko pasasalamatan si Guy kung hindi ko siya kilala?"

Pagkarating ng bahay, agad siyang sinalubong ng Mama niya.. Bakas sa mukha ng Mama niya ang pag-alala.

"Kass! Where have you been? Okay ka na ba?" Her mom asked.

Her mother's question repeated inside her mind, "Okay ka na ba?"

"Does mama know?"

"You know, Ma?" She asked her mother.

"Yes. Nahimatay ka sa mall. Sabi ko sayo na magpabili ka na lang kay Manang. Yan pa tuloy ang nangyari sa'yo"

"Sorry po ma. Pero okay na po ako. Tsaka...." She paused and looked behind her mother's back. Her father's must be talking to someone? Papa niya lang kasi ang nakikita niya, the rest was covered by the wall. Kaya half lang ang nakikita.

"Who told you I fainted?" She continued.

"Oh that! You know him. In fact, nandito siya. Halika ka." Pag-aya ng mama niya sa kanya sabay lakad dun sa papa niya.

Kassandra's POV ~

Sino siya? Sino so guy? Could it be....

.

No! Imposibleng si Dandrei yun. He was with someone earlier.

Eh? My parent's don't know any guy except Dandrei. Napaka-open ko kaya kay Drei sa kanila.

But seems like I'm stuck on ground where I'm standing. Parang ayaw maglakad ng mga paa ko patungo sa kanila.

I was intrigued who the guy could be..

And finally, may feet started moving na parang may sarili silang pag-iisip.

Ready or not, here I co—

What the hell am I thinking? Tss. Bahala na nga. Bahala na kung sino man siya.

I made my way to the Kitchen hesitantly.

And there, I was shocked. Napatigil ako sa paglalakad and looked at him.

Nanindig yung mga balahibo ko. And seems like, I really can't move from where I am.

"Sabi na nga ba't magkakilala kayo.. Sa tingin pa lang oh. Haha" Rinig ko na sabi ni mama habang nakatayo pa rin ang nalatingin sa kanya.

Bakit siya nandito? Bakit sa bahay pa? Bahay iniwan niya ako dun sa ospital? Bakit iniwan niya akong mag-isa? Bakit? 

Madami pumapasok na tanong sa isip ko na tila, hindi ko masasagot.

But napatigil ang pag-iisip ko when his lips started to form a curve.

He smiled!

"Hi, Kass."

"Ay anak ng kalabaw! Nagsalita ka!"

"Ay grabe, ang mean mo." Sabi niya. Saka tumayo at naglakad papunta sakin.

"Haha, na-miss kita, bwisit ka! Alam mo yun?" I said as I hug him.

"Hindi ko alam yon. Hahaha!"

Nagtawanan kami. Pinaupo niya ako. And we started eating dinner. Ginabi talaga ako sa pag-uwi. Oh edi wow. XD

"Kailan ka pa umuwi, Kieff?" I asked him

"Yesterday." Tipid naman niyang sagot.

Naiintriga na kayo kung sino si Kieff? He's my guy bestfriend. My only guy bestfriend. They migrated sa States. And it has been 4 years since he left. Iniwan niya ako dito. *fake cry* haha

"Ah, vacation niyo?"

"No. I'll be staying here.. For good. Life here is much better than the states. Ang daming bullies dun."

"Reallyyyyy? Ohmagaaaah!"

"Hep hep! Tekaaa. Pasalamatan mo muna ako."

I pouted.

"Salamat." I said and managed to smile and hugged him once more before going back eating my dinner.. Na-miss ko siya eh. No malice. Bestfriend ko lang talaga to.
