Im a snake...

So this is the track

Today was Monday which meant i was going to the track with Reggie , both of us had been texting each other over the weekend. Sweetpea had tried to call me but i didnt pick up it was more like i couldnt , I admitted my feelings for him at the complete wrong time and i just needed a bit of space to clear my head . I threw on some gym leggings and a top and made my way downstairs .
"Babe our daughter is in sportswear im concerned " my Dad shouts out and Mom runs into the hall .
"I thought you was joking " she said looking at me
"Why are you so shocked ?" I ask knitting my eyebrows together
"Rosie i dont think ive seen you do exercise on your own free will since you was born " Mom said .
"Well this isnt technically a choice "
"Now that makes sense " my Dad says grabbing his work jacket .

I got to the track and as i walked in i saw Reggie doing a lap , there was no doubt he was pretty talented when it came down to the athletic stuff , me however no i wasnt . I waited for him on the bleachers and as he finished the lap he took a seat next to me .
"So this is the track " i say as i take in my surroundings
"You havent been here before " he says breathing slightly healthy
"Well this isnt really my forte i must admit , so dont make me do too much running " i warn him .
"Your telling me you dont want to get sweaty with Mantle the magnificant " he smirked at me .
"Oh please " i roll my eyes as i get up from the bleachers and follow him down to the track . The two of began to do laps of the track , i managed to keep up with him . Well actually i struggled to keep up with him but somehow kept up with him . After we finished we sat down in the middle where the grass was . He chucked me a gatorade .
"Thanks " i say slightly breathless
"So this project " i say
"What that neither of us want to do ?"
"Yep thats the one , shall we maybe just leave it for today ?"
"That is music to my ears Rosie " he says
"So come on i wanna know all about Reggie Mantle "
"You wanna know how big my " i cut him off straight away "maybe lets start with something like your family " i advise
"Okay erm well my Dad owns a car dealership , my Mom works with something to do with law that i dont really understand "
"That sounds like a lot "
"Yeah there basically never home " he says
"Let me guess you take advantage of your free house and have girls round all the time " i laugh
"Thats only monday to friday " he jokes smugly "yeah thats my family really , im an only child "
"So am i "
"Well at least i havent got to worry about your big brother , well actually i wouldnt worry anyways have you seen me " he says flexing
"Let me just get my magnifying glass out " i say squinting my eyes at his arms .
"You know what im suprised we get on aswell as we do " he says
"Well all the serpents arent as bad as everyone makes out " i say
"Well apart from a few "
"Some of us are just a bit misunderstood thats all " i say
"Okay but Sweetpea is a dick , you cant change my mind on that "
"Im not going to try to either " i sigh
"I must be confused but i thought there was something going on between you two "
"Reggie i really dont wanna talk about Sweetpea right now"
Later on we finally left the track .
"Ive got an idea " he says
"What is this idea ?"
"Were going clubbing , ill get a few others involved . Veronica wanted to go clubbing a little while back " i looked at him confused .
"Please dont tell me your in a gang but you dont have a fake id"
"Thats where your wrong , i do have an id"
"Well ill meet you on friday then " he says , as i was about to speak my phone rang .
"Hold on " i say answering it
"Hey Toni "
"hey girl , can you get to the wyrm in like ten minutes ?"
"Yeah why ?"
"Theres a meeting thats just been brought up out of the blue "
"Okay on my way " i hang up
"Duty calls but see you friday i guess " i offer him a smile before going to the wyrm for the meeting . As i get in i see Toni sat down at a table so i joined her .
"Hey whats the meeting about ?" I ask her
"I have no clue , they just came in and asked me to get everyone here " as she finished her sentence Fangs and Sweetpea came over joining us at the table . Thankfully Sweetpea sat next to Toni and i was sat next to Fangs . The meeting soon began all it was about was us just being careful about what were doing and about Hiram Lodge because Jughead was getting suspiscious .
"Well now thats over im going to get a shower " i say excusing myself from the table .
"Hey Rosie we were all gonna catch a movie friday night , Cheryl wanted to come aswell . You down ?"
"Oh i ur actually have plans sorry , raincheck " i say offering her a smile before i left the bar . I stopped to have a smoke before walking home , as i was lighting it i felt an arm touch mine which made me jump slightly.
"What the fuck " i say turning round and seeing Sweetpea "you startled me "i say as i finally light it .
"Rosie we gotta talk , you cant keep avoiding me "
"Pea right now i dont want to talk to you " i sigh as i try to get past him . He grabbed my arms "look Rosie i feel the same way " he admits . I was slightly shocked , i didnt think he felt the same .
"What Pea ? I cant do this right now " i say pulling away and walking off.
"I know you cant carry on avoiding me Carter " i heard him say as i walked on further .
