chapter 12. Mate

"A mate..." Jin said staring off at the husky his eyes wondered around the room as he thought of the question until it caught namjoons figure but he immediately turned back to Yoongi failing to hide the crimson formulating on his cheeks.

"S-Something like that...but I haven't marked them o-r anything like that" Hoseok's ears had peeled up as he eavesdroped on the conversation wanting to join in, he had paused the boss level not wanting to end his winning streak.

"I wish I had one!" He exclaimed. Yoongi looked at both men with worry and hesitation, he wanted to ask the next question he's been dying to know ever since he met you, but was too scared by what their reaction may be if he did ask. He summoned his courage anyways and began to talk "W-what if she wasn't like us? H-how would you make her understand..."

"Not like us?" Hoseok questioned "what do you mean? You can't mark another person unless..." His brows furrow deep in thought until an o shaped formed on his lips "H-human!?" His pitched increased and eyes widened, but not long after Jin had smacked the back of the smaller hybrids head making him shut up. "So what if it is human... A mate is still a mate." Jin stated boldly. Hoseok paused to think of the statement before his hands left the spot behind his head where the dog hybrid had smacked him.

"Well If I found my mate and she was a human." He paused looking like he was thinking about it in the most logical way he could even though every form of mischief was laced in the smile that had already been forming on his lips " I'd chain them to my bed and seduce them into submission." He continued proudly "explanations would come later." His smile was so bubbly it looked like the world couldn't touch him. While Jin looked at him in pure shock at how someone so bubbly could be this dark, but Yoongi just stared with his dark beady eyes drinking in what the older hybrid had just said.

"Seduce..." Yoongi had muttered apparently not quietly enough because Jin looked back at Yoongi as he saw the hybrid processing the word, then something clicked within him like a motherly instinct had kicked in, telling him to protect yoongi from the bad bad man and his words.

Deaf to the calls of hoseok curious to where Jin was going. He found the nearest cane like broom he could locate which was at the corner of the front entrance to the kitchen. Where namjoon was washing up unaware to the situation, Jin had came back silently yet with a deadly aura closing in behind the other hybrid he took the wooden torture device and aimed it right on hoseok's butt with a loud BANG!. "WHAT TYPE OF FLIP FLAPPING PADDY WACKING PERVERTED THINGS ARE YOU TRYING TO TEACH THIS POOR BOY HUH!?"

At this point hoseok had jumped up from his spot running frantically away from the armed man chasing his with the broom of doom. "Ahh hyung! It was just a suggestion! I didn't mean it." He said running over the couch and into the safety of the pillow fort they had made earlier.

"Suggestion my ass get back here or I will drop you d-deep in the ocean with the snakes!"

J hopes face was carved into pure fear as the elder inched closer "No! Please I hate snakeu!"

Y/N'S P.O.V

You came back from another stressful day at work when you got home Yoongi had already been waiting on the couch prepping for movie night you two always had on a friday night. Guessing namjoon had dropped him off with the spare key you always put in the very end of your plant pot in a box. You were glad the weekend had finally came. You missed your fluffy husky and all the attention you use to give him before you got so busy this week. You could tell he missed you too. The not so subtle way he always seemed to gravitate closer towards you every time you were within a five mile radius and all the dents left on the couch by his huge fluffy green tail wagging uncontrollably when we'd cuddle and play made it very evident.

You didn't want to think about what happened that day. About how that kiss made you feel like everything was right in the world and the way you're heart started to wiggle in its ribcage everytime you even thought of yoongi from that day on. It was ridiculous. "It was just a mistake!" You keep telling yourself, and just a mistake it shall remain until this weird feeling inside you went away.

You sat your self near the hybrid laying your body on the couch head up as you kick your shoes off. "What are we watching sugar?" You turn to yoongi with an upbeat smile. He had worry and nervousness spitting across his face. "There were no new Zootopia movies from last time." He was almost inaudible eyes drifting off at the last sentence. "Oh?" You thought to yourself. Why was he acting so strange? there were at least two more films from the last one you two watched together. Maybe he had already watched it with namjoon and jin." So,let's try something new." He smiled, eyes hiding in a curved shape as his cheeks puffed up with his lips.

YOONGI'S P.O.V

She flashed me a curious smile before whispering a "sure" her soft hands lacing an arm full of popcorn before shoving it to her mouth.
This was it. This was my chance to woo her into mating remembering what hoseok hyung had said...

"You can't wait willy nilly for a mate to come. You just have to be territorial and mark her for yourself!" Yoongi's beady eyes looked at the taller man's. " But how can I sedu-"

"I've heard enough!" Jin furiously stomps to us softly covering both of my fully heightened ears ."Didn't I tell you to stop feeding this poor boy nonsense!"

He came back to reality when you had asked him what we were going to watching instead. Oblivious to his true intentions of tonight. Nervousness inching closer to his palms and his heart. No Yoongi, you have to be confident. He pressed the button on the remote starting the movie as he wrapped his emerald tail around your torso holding you in his arm in an awkward but comfortable position. Then he laid his head upon your shoulder taking in your scent before slowly licking the soft skin then kissing it with a loving touch. He whispered in lowest seducing tone he could find. "We're watching... le secret."
