Angelo's POV
I sat in class, lazily tapping my pen on my table and I was constantly glancing at our doorway, hoping that Mackenna was in the same class as me.
The door opened a moment later and Pamela entered and looked over the class. Nathaniel's crush.
She looked at me and I passed her a warm friendly smile and she did same and I motioned for her to sit by me.
Hi." I grinned.
"Hi." She replied.
"Sorry about my dude." I apologised on Nathaniel's behalf.
"It's ok, but why is he like that?" She asked and I sighed.
"Don't know, maybe he..likes you?" I replied.
"I don't think so.'' She groaned.
"Ariel, Nathaniel has never fallen in love before-"
''So Belinda?" She asked and I chuckled.
"You call that love?" I asked. Nathaniel was only dating Belinda just because he wanted to stay in the basketball team so it would have been very funny if he said he loved her.
"I don't even know what love is itself." She admitted.
"Ah well, but just so you know, if Nathaniel ever falls in love, it's for real." I assured knowing exactly what I meant.
"Angelo, how can you ignore the fact that he hates me?" She asked.
"I don't think he hates you." I said.
"You don't have to think, it's obvious." She scoffed.
"Okay, if he hates you so much, why will he save you from a nearly to happen accident?" I asked.
"Maybe..uh..um..for um..humanity sake?" She asked and I chuckled more causing her to frown.
"You're so naïve." I commented.
"Okay okay, so why does he treat me so badly?" Pamela questioned.
"Maybe uhh..he doesn't want to fall for you but he has and he might think that um..maybe you can never like him." I said.
"I don't understand any of that. " She deadpaned and I shrugged.
"Angelo, stop getting my hopes up."
"I'm not giving hopes." I countered and she sighed.
"Just stating obvious facts, one day, you'll realise I was telling the truth." I predicted.
"Have you seen Barbie today?" I asked.
"No.." She trailed off.
"Shit." I muttered under my breath.
Mr. Jurado entered class and gave out our results for the test. He was my favourite teacher well because the subject he taught was my favourite.
"I must say, I'm extremely proud of you, Mr. Carden." He said reffering to me. "Not many guys are good in literature, you're superb and keep it up." He praised and I nodded taking my test paper which had and 'A' on it.
"Miss Lucas, keep it up as well." He said and gave her hers. She had and 'A+' on her sheet.
"Hey, you like literature that much?" She chuckled and I nodded.
"Yeah, apart from sports, I like literature." I confessed blushing a bit.
"How come you're so excellent in all subjects?" I asked. I had found out long ago that her lowest score in any subject was a 'B+'
