Mackenna's POV
"Have you kissed or attempted to kiss her before?" As soon as those words escaped Cadwell's lips, I refrained from smacking him at the back of his head.
Throughout dinner, he had made Angelo uncomfortable by asking him questions and even to make matters worse, he barely made him answer.
In short, he's been a jerk during dinner.
Angelo, however had been a gentleman throughout, he didn't burst out in anger, he took in everything smoothly.
"Cadwell, that's enough." Dad spoke.
"No dad, let him answer this important question." He said glaring at Angelo who had a glass of water to his lips.
"Have you kissed or attempted to kiss her before?" He asked again and I remembered all those moments he had tried to kiss me or we had almost ended up kissing.
"Yes, but I haven't kissed her before." Angelo answered his question.
"Is it because she pushes you away?" Cadwell asked on.
"Cad, that's enough." Cadwella spoke.
"Shut up Cada." Cadwell growled.
"Don't tell her to shut up, you shut up and stop disturbing the poor boy for God's sake, Mackenna invited him over, not you." Dad said and Cadwell grunted and leaned into his chair.
A very awkward and uncomfortable silence reigned for a while until Mom broke it.
"Macky dear." I looked up from my food.
"Won't you like to show Angelo around?" She asked and my heart started punching my ribcage. I looked at Angelo who was just looking back at me with a smirk.
"That wouldn't be-"
"SHUT UP!'' Mom and Cadwella yelled at Cadwell.
"Come on, show him around." Mom said.
I got up from my chair and walked over to Angelo.
"Hey beautiful." He said flirtatiously causing my cheeks to flush.
In front of my parents! And brother who was glowering at him!
''Aww, so cute." Cadwella cooed and Angelo chuckled.
"More like harassment if you ask me" Cadwell muttered.
"Angelo, stop this right now." I gritted up at him in a mutter.
"Sorry, did you say something? Or you're saying we should get going?" He asked and shamelessly draped his arm around my shoulder.
I sighed and we walked up the stairs. I showed his the various rooms, the laundry room, Cadwell's room, Cadwella's till we finally reached mine.
My eyes widened when I opened my bedroom door. I rushed ahead of Angelo to the electric photo frame at my desk and quickly turned it off before Angelo could see that I had pictures of him.
I'm creepy, I know.
"Nice pictures." He said behind me. His sexy smirk was so wide and heart throbing
"It's not you." I lied and he shook his head.
"Um Angelo?" I called holding one of my arms.
"Yeah?" He replied coming closer to me.
