28: Rebound?

7:30 p.m.

Chenle and I are in my room on my bed, just watching tv and my mom steps in.

"Hey kiddos."

"Hey mom." Chenle and I say together and laugh. It never gets old.

"I just got back, and I'm gonna make dinner. What are your guys' plans?"

I look over at Chenle to see what he wants to do.

"I mean, I should probably help my parents pack, but I don't want to."

"Okay," I nod and look back at mom, "could he sleep over? Then could I use your car to bring him home tomorrow?"

"I work tomorrow, remember?"

I look over at Chenle again.

"Jeno can pick me up tomorrow, he'll be fine." He laughs.

Mom and I laugh and nod.

Saturday, 6:30 p.m

We get up as Jeno pulls into my driveway.

Jeno, and I talk about random things on the way to Donghyuck's house, after he dropped Chenle off at his house.

"How's this gonna work? Am I gonna bring you back to your place after your done?" Jeno turns onto Donghyuck's road.

"No, I think I'm gonna just walk to the gas station, get some food, then I can walk home."

"You sure? That's kinda a long walk?" Jeno questions.

"Yea, It'll be nice so I can just think after I leave." I say as we pull into his driveway.

Jeno pulls out of his driveway and I knock on his door. He opens the door and looks at me, shocked.

"Hey." A small smile forms on his lips.

"I, just wanted to... give these back." I stutter as I hand him his clothes.

"Thanks." He takes them. "I forgot to give you one of your socks, actually." He points behind him with his thumb. "I don't know if it's in my room, or where. But like, if you want to help, go ahead. I've been looking and can't find it." He says a little awkwardly.

"O-okay." I nod and step inside. I follow him to the laundry room and he puts his clothes on the laundry machine. I just stand there awkwardly, I don't exactly know why.

He turns to me and I just stand there, kind of avoiding his eyes.

All of a sudden, his hands cup my cheeks and his lips press into mine. I'm shocked at first, but don't stop him. He keeps kissing me and I bring my hands up to his chest.

He pulls away, and leaves his face just inches away from mine. His eyes stare into mine and I feel a burst of energy, and comfort rush through my body.

I push my body against his and kiss him again. He slips his tongue and I follow his lead. My hands trace up to his jaw and I start to lose my breath.

He pulls away again and is, again, inches away from me. My eyes stare into his and a little grin comes to his lips. His hands trace down my back and land on my hips. He picks me up and I immediately wrap my legs around his torso. His hands land on my butt and I grin a tiny bit with him. He walks us to his room and he lays me down on his bed, then stays right above me with my legs wrapped around him.

He leans in for a kiss and I bite his lip before he gets to. He smirks and sits up, I leave my legs wrapped around him, and he takes his shirt off. He lays over me again with one hand roaming my thigh underneath him, and the other gently brushing on my cheekbone. He keeps his face right above mine and we just look into each other's eyes with a grin on both of our faces.
