19: The Touch

"Hm?" I hum for an answer.

"Are you gonna fall asleep first?"

I nod my head, a little bit, and hum again.

"Okay good."

I keep running my hand through his hair. It's so soft and smooth, I know it relaxes him, but it relaxes me too.

Donghyuck's POV

She continues to run her hand through my hair as I run my hand up and down her arm.

I just start to think about everything that's happened, so fast.

Miyoung used to think of me as the most annoying, rude person out there. She avoided me and rarely ever talked to me. All the way to the last day of school. What was it about that day? Was it because of her truck that she just realized who I could be for her? Was it that I was the only one that could be there for her in such a short time? Was she just having a bad day and talked to me, thinking that I couldn't make it any worse at that point? Was I just the first person that answered? Was I the worst-case scenario to her?

Whatever it was, her mind changed. She won Mario cart, and kissed me on the cheek, just because I was expecting a kiss from everyone else, she made us breakfast, she opened up to me so much in just a couple of days, she trusts me as much as Chenle and Jisung, she likes me, and now we're dating. It's all happened so soon.

I've gotten closer to her as well. I've opened up to her more than anyone else, I've learned so much about her, I trust her, and I was the one that kissed her. And now we're here, holding each other, falling asleep.

I'm so lucky.

I grab my phone knowing she's asleep by now and open up to my camera.

I take a few pictures with my face in it, a few with just her. I find my favorite one and change it to my background. Are we really hiding this? Us?

Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.

I wake up and realize that I'm in Miyoung's room. Did we really fall asleep right after dinner and just sleep through the whole night?

I move my hand around, trying my best not to disturb Miyoung, and find my phone. I look at the time and see that it's 8:30 in the morning.

I notice that I got texts from Jeno, Chenle, and Jisung.

Hey I ordered some parts for Miyoung's car. They should be here by the end of the week so maybe this weekend we can start working on her truck.
