It was the cartoons that woke me up. That and the smell of pancakes. And the very noticeable lack of my boyfriend next to me. That jerk. We should have gotten up together. But I was more confused as to who was watching cartoons. And my stomach urged me to investigate the pancake smell. I shuffled down the hall towards both.

Taehyung and Jungkook were on the floor in front of my tv, holding plates of pancakes in their laps and staring at the characters that paraded across the screen. They burst into laughter as I was passing behind them, so they didn't notice I was up yet. I leaned out the kitchen doorway slightly, trying to see what they were watching, but a pair of arms slid around my waist and a head buried itself in my shoulder.

"You're awake baby." Yoongi mumbled against my neck, pressing a soft kiss there.

I shivered and nodded. "Mhm. I want pancakes too."

"Do you wanna watch Apanman with the boys too?" Yoongi teased lightly.

"Maybe." I giggled.

"What are we doing today?" He questioned as he piled pancakes onto a plate for himself.

He'd already had a plate waiting for me. It warmed me right through our connection. I felt buzzed up and cozy at the same time in a pleasant way. The pancakes helped that too. They were delicious. And somehow, Yoongi had coerced Jungkook into being helpful and the youngest had gone to the corner store for maple syrup, which definitely made all the difference. Even the glass container that reminded Jimin slightly of a whiskey bottle lended to the domestic atmosphere.

He barely remembered they'd argued last night. And it didn't matter anymore anyway, since it was resolved. That was nice to remember as well.

"I thought we could go to the beach. We've never done that together." I mused around a bite of syrup smothered heaven.

Jungkook came in to drop his and Tae's dishes in the sink. "If you're doing something, is it a date, or like a 'let's get to know Jimin's friends' thing?"

I looked to Yoongi, liking the idea. I just didn't want to put him on the spot. But like there was no other option. He shrugged at me, unable to speak around his own mouthful of pancakes.

"I have to work Ggukkie, I can't!"

"You aren't Jimin's only friend!" Jungkook called back, shaking his head as he left, probably with the intent of kicking his romantic counterpart.

I snickered as Taehyung yelped in pain. "We should set up something like that, but for today, I think it'll just be the two of us Jungkook."

"Okay, HEY I WAS WATCHING THAT!"

"ITS NOT EVEN AS COOL AS ANPANMAN!"

I giggled helplessly at their arguing, checking Yoongi for a reaction. He was smiling at me. "Yes, we should go to the beach. But you should hurry so we can get stuff from my place too."

That's how we got here.

This beach, just over an hour and a half from our homes.

It was kinda crowded. The sun was just hot enough for it to be a nice beach day.

Yoongi had borrowed Seokjin's beach umbrella and I had brought a beach blanket I'd bought at work. They didn't match at all. Seokjin's umbrella was pink with hot pink polka dots and my blanket was a black and orange and blue and red mandala design.

Yoongi had me hold up the umbrella while he piled sand up around the pole, even going so far as to dumping a bucket of water on the sand to make it stronger. I was trying really hard not to laugh too loudly at him. He was so cute when he was concentrating on something.

Then he laid down on the blanket and tugged on my shorts. "Join me."

I laid next to him and he took my hand. "What do you want to do first?"

"I'm fine with laying here if you're still tired Yoongs. You can nap."

Yoongi sat up, dragging me with him. "Don't tempt me, let's get in the water."

I jumped up, anticipating how cold the water would be on our hot skin and how fun it would be to body surf with Yoongi. He laughed at me. But he was right behind me, kicking sand up on purpose just to make a fuss. We ran all the way down to the water and I waded out until the water was up to my waist. Yoongi was still waddling through the ankle deep water, picking through the sand.

"What are you doing?" I yelled.

"Joon said to get him a crab!"

I laughed and waved for him to join me, one eye watching out for waves. Yoonie made it to my side as the first big wave hit. We jumped up, reaching for each other subconsciously and came up holding hands. Yoongi coughed a little, but said he just swallowed some water. He was laughing and joking with me and pointing at waves.

He wasn't expecting the wake of the wave. He yelled out loudly and I couldn't help but laugh at him. I bent over, almost face planting in the water. He grabbed my waist and pulled me up against him. He tickled my sides, 'giving me a reason to laugh'. I squirmed. I tried and failed to escape and he lifted me above the wave that came crashing around our legs.
