I waited by his apartment, the shadows were thick in hallways like this, the yellow lights didn't quite reach the corners. I listened in my head to see if Yoongi was coming up with him, but Yoongi had to be up early for a shift. So, with a kiss goodnight, they parted.

I didn't like being in their heads when they kissed. Their love gave me a headache.

I waited until a sand encrusted, windblown, bone weary Park Jimin wobbled out of the elevator to come out of the shadows. His arms were laden with bags and he dug through all of them in turn, trying to locate his keys. I coughed and lifted a hand in greeting.

"Jimin."

He jumped, dropping his bags and looking around wildly. "Oh my god, hyung, you scared me half to death! What are you doing here?"

"My apartment is just upstairs, I hadnt realized we'd be neighbors." I grinned at him, crouching to gather his bags. "Have fun today?"

His face broke out in a smile. "Oh yes, Yoongi took me to the beach. I've never gone there on a date before. But my legs still feel like I'm in the ocean."

I laughed because he wanted me to. He wanted to take his bags from me and go inside. He wanted to wash the sand off and get cleaned up. He didn't want to let me inside, he was thinking about Yoongi again.

"If you get the door I'll set these just inside for you, you've gotta be beat." I grinned.

He nodded at me, biting his lip, but he unlocked the door and let me put his things on the small mat.

"Goodnight," I smiled again and left.

I could hear his thoughts. He was relieved I'd gone, he was ready for sleep, he wanted to call Yoongi. God, if only I could filter his thoughts away from Yoongi. I'd figure it out soon.

At the moment, I needed to make Jimin happy, if he was uncomfortable, this would never work.
