Move on... part 5.

It's been 2 months since that night. Shortly afterward, Zoya had stopped visiting the office; or university for that matter as she was done with her project. she had, had her graduation yesterday and tonight she was leaving for India.

Kevin had remained true to his word, he still talked to her and supported her like before. They were not a couple, nor did Kevin bring up that topic again; however, they were still good friends. Even, last night, he genuinely congratulated her and celebrated with her. he delightedly told everyone, her parents and friends how proud he was of her, and how he hoped she would accept to continue working with him, during and after her PHD. he praised her intelligence and work behaviour extensively.

Ashu was present at the ceremony, and she knew about that night on the last day of the project. she could see how much Kevin loved Zoya and she suspected that other people can sense that too. She felt really sorry for him. In her opinion, Zoya was doing a grave mistake leaving Kevin and opting for Aditya. She had tried to make her change her mind, but in vain.

Before leaving, Kevin had secretly come to the airport to see her off. He gifted her the pendent he had wanted to give her that night. He kissed her one last time before wishing her all the best for her future. He also brought the partnership papers with him, and asked Zoya to sign them and become his official business partner and the company's creative head. Zoya had tears in her eyes, and she couldn't believe that people like Kevin exist in this world. She gladly signed the papers and bid him goodbye.

Little did they knew, that this was actually their final goodbye and they would never see each other again.
