Chapter 16

Seulgi's POV

Just once, I would like to wake up, turn on the news and hear 'Monday has been cancelled, go back in sleep!' Monday is a basic bitch. Can I ask a question? Why is Monday so far from Friday but Friday is so near in Monday?! Ugh—I hate mondays, no one can ever changed that. Period!

"Seulgi! Why the heck you're so slow? The event is going to start like 15 minutes from now!" a mad lion growling in this early morning. Since it's the opening of sport fest and Irene is the council's president, she need to be active and responsible.

"Coming my wife! Give me a couple of minutes!"

"What the—eww! Wife your ass!" she yelled and stomping her feet as she marched out.

Yeah, intramurals is a 1 week event where the whole students in the ReVel University will participate in different sports and games. There will be 8 Teams, and the team will based in a color. Last year we used a marvel characters but this year we're using a animals. Our team name is BLACK PANTHER. There are many events too like Cheer and Yell, Mr & Mrs. Intramurals 2019, FunRun Marathon, Dance Into The Beat and etc.

I groaned as I held my head that Irene smacked and looking at me madly.

"Why hell are you just standing here?! Are you crazy?! The opening is about to start and I'm the one who's giving the first speech?! Aish—I'm going to leave!" she angrily said as I startled when she slammed the door so loud.

I mentally slapped my face. She's really scary when she's mad. Pretty scary sounds cheesy but whatever. I immediately went to Lisa's car since my car haven't arrived yet so I kinda using my cousin's car.

After a minutes of driving, I arrived in the university and luckily Irene is just in time and she's about to speak about her speech.

"Good morning to all students of ReVel International University. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to say a few words at the opening of the Intramurals year 2019. This is indeed an important occasion for all of us, this event allow us to relaxed a little bit and enjoy. I hope today will be one of great fun and happiness for our teachers and students. I hope you all take with you the exciting and lasting memories. I wish you all success in today's events. I would also like to thank all our guests for coming today and wish you all the best. That's all and have a fun."

The crowd cheered and giving her a round warm of applaused and I immediately went to her but a two hands pulling me away from her.

"Seul? Long time no talk.." Seungwan goofily smiled as well as Sooyoung.

"What are you saying? We always see each other here in the university but it depends whether you two are attending our classes or not?" I said as I narrowed my eyes at them.

"Of course we are Seul besides we're graduating student and we can't fail right now." Sooyoung assured.

"Yeah but you still owe us a story right Joy?" Seungwan nudge Sooyoung while she immediately agreed.

"Yep, we deserve an explanation and we deserve an acceptable reason." she dramatically said.

"What are you guys saying?" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh c'mon lover girl don't play innocent here. We know you know what we're talking about.." Sooyoung playfully wiggling her eyebrows.

"Nope? I don't?" I asked as I looked at them confusingly.

"Tch, I thought you're smart?" Seungwan rolled her eyes at me.

"Yes I can say that, just get straight to the point." I sighed.

"What's between you and I--"

"Seulgi!"

I looked at the owner of the voice and seeing Eunbi running towards us. As she arrived infront of me, she catch her breath first.

"I-I've been looking f-for you Seul.." she mumbled as she still catching her breath while composing herself again.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well did you made up your mind if you join our club?" she asked. Oh~right. I totally forgot about that.

"Well..I'm sorry Eunbi but--" I was cutted off when someone butted in.

"Hi! I'm Park Sooyoung! I'm sorry to interrupt you two but I'm just a big fan of yours. I love your dance covers.." Sooyoung squealed as she can't conceal her excitement.

"Oh~hello. I'm Bae Eunbi—"

"Bae Eunbi, little sister of Bae Irene. Your birthdate is September 27, your favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate green tea, you're a libra, you can play guitar and they said that we have a great resemblance and that's why I love you!" Sooyoung said non-stop. I mentally slapped my face, she looks like a stalker.

"Oh God Joy." Seungwan mumbled as she massaged her temple.

"Woah~Seul you have a thoughtful friend." Eunbi chuckled as I smiled hesitantly.

"Yeah, you can say that. Anyways, I'm sorry but I don't dance." I said as I smiled.

"What? No way! Don't believe her. Seulgi is good at dancing." Sooyoung said and I glared at her, she just shrugged.

"Yep, a totally dancing machine. She's a dancer when we're in high school." Seungwan added and I want to kill this two right now.

"Thanks guys." I sarcastically said to them.

"C'mon Seul besides I know you miss dancing." Sooyoung encouraged.

Yeah, I miss dancing. That's my only way to escape reality back then but dancing weakened me. The reason why I hate myself because I know that dancing have this part on me, the only thing that reminded me of her. Dancing is a curse and I'm that cursed.

"Seul?" Seungwan called.

"Hmm?" I hummed as I looked at Eunbi who's patiently waiting for my answer.

"So??" Sooyoung asked and I remained silent.

"It's okay. I'm sorry, I remember that unnie said that you can't forced other to do want you want them to do, it's called selfishness. So..I'll just see you around then?" she said and bowed at us and started to walked away.

"W-wait?" I said as she stopped and slowly looking at me.

"Well, there's nothing wrong in trying again right?" I said as I looked at Eunbi who's smile plastered in her face.

"I'll give it a shot."

For me, dancing is a curse. I hate getting flashbacks from the things I don't want to remember because having a bad memories in a certain thing kills the hell out of me. Sometimes you have to accept the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be.

I looked at the sky and closed my eyes.

But still nothing hurts more than a feeling of missing someone you can't talk to.

I miss you.
