Chapter Four

Tyler's P.O.V

Monday's are already terrible, but they're even worse when it's your first day at a new school as well.

I woke up at 4:56 and showered, at 5:15 brushed my teeth then at 5:17 brush out my hair and decide to let it air dry. I quietly go out into the bedroom and over to my dresser  to grab a pair of jeans and a light blue turtle neck.

I dress then once again quietly go over to my bed and take my book off my nightstand and start reading.

I get about three and a half chapters in before I get a text from my boss asking if I could come in after school. I say 'yes' and see that it's 6:45 and start hearing noise downstairs, then the alarm clocks start.

"Jesus Tyler, why are you already up and ready?" Vivian asks, siting up and starts rubbing her eyes. I just shrug and watch as they all slowly get out of bead and start getting ready.

I go go back to my book, Brooklyn is doing her makeup and she stops and looks at me in her mirror. "Tyler do you wear makeup?" I shake my head, "Yeah, you don't need it you're naturally pretty" she says going back to applying her mascara.

"So it's your senior year are you gonna get a boyfriend" Vivian says wiggling her eyebrows, I feel my cheeks heating up fast. "Ooo, I think she issssss" Brooklyn chimes in only to make my face somehow even more red.

"Guys cut it out" Addison says coming out of the bathroom. Deciding I don't want my face to explode from embarrassment I put my book down and go downstairs, but sadly hear them behind me.

"Oh Tyler your face is all red, are you okay?" Damien? David? (You know these people are gonna have to get name tags) asks, before I have a chance to nod Addison cuts in. "She's fine, Beavis and Butthead over here were messing with her".

"Guys Tyler was up and ready before we woke up" Vivian says while pouring her cereal. "What time did you get up?" one of the boys asks, "F-four fifty-six" I say opening my poptart package.

"Oh my god" Dallas exclaims, I'm not liking all this attention being brought to me and I really wish they'd move to something else.

"I'll be taking you to school" Addison says nudging me, I wish she didn't do that. "Yeah and Greyson I'm taking you" Felix says.

Me and Addison headed to school and I started getting nervous, "You okay?", "Um, I'm a little nervous", I say fidgeting with my fingers. "You should be fine, you'll probably have at least one of us in your classes" she says trying to be reassuring but it's not that helpful.

"Everyone's g-gonna stare at me" I say watching the things as we pass by them. "I mean you do have some crazy hair", I look over at her, "Gee, thanks for the reassurance" "sorry, but hey you didn't stutter" she points out. She is really getting on my nerves.

We pull into the school parking lot and she parks by the others that are standing by their cars. The parking lot is next to the court yard where about 200 people are standing or sitting, there's about 200 more standing here in the parking lot. If the school is only about 400 people I could do that, this would be fine.

"Okay, so we can't go in until 8:30 that's when they unlock the doors, then I'll take you to the office to get a schedule" Addison says as she starts to turn off the car. 8:30, that's only ten minutes, ten minutes is not enough time to prepare myself for what's gonna happen today.

"Tyler, are you gonna get out of the car?" I hadn't noticed Addison get out but there she is standing at my now now open door. "Um" "Hey, you're gonna do great today" she says grabbing my hand, I quickly yank it out of hers and get out of the car with my bag.

"So how was it riding with Addy" Oscar says as we walk over to them now bring an unwanted attention to us. "It went great" "She said everyone was going to stare at me because I have crazy hair" we say at the same time.
