I was a different person out of my army. I was a different person with (Y/N) around. My stoicism, which had become something of a second nature, felt like it had been wiped away my a soft cloth. I was slowly getting used to out ma'am than sir, and I was much happier now. The only thing was Tord. He was my friend, I obviously still missed him. Sadly, I was also aware of the fact that it would be dishonorable for me to come home with her anything less than hospitalized. I needed an excuse, a way out, but most importantly---I needed away to see her again. It irked me to know I'd have to disobey orders, and I was stuck in a loop.
What was more important? My friendships... or (Y/N). My mind kept flicking to us being forbidden lovers, making me realize how much of a romantic I had become, but I had to nearly slap that from my head. Patryck was giving me odd looks, a slight smile on his face, but dwindling in the back of our minds was that twinge of fear and hate. For ourselves. For our situation. I felt his hand gently pat my shoulder, making me jump, which made him jump in return.
"It'll be ok," he said, but you could tell there was more on his mind.
     "Thanks, Pat," I said.
I had nearly called when we both heard our phones buzz. I grabbed it slowly, seeing the familiar caramel horned man I had come to fear.
I am going to assume you have had setbacks. Two days after tomorrow I will be bringing the army to storm the base. From what Pat has told me it is underwater, so everything must go right. I expect the leader should be dead by now, which will make it much easier. If she isn't, I'll kill her myself.
I looked to Pat with the shake of my head. I could hear my voice coming from my mouth, even though I hated what I had to say. "We can't kill her, Pat, I..."

"I love her."

He slicked back his hair with a nod, his brows raised. He definately seemed lightly confused, but he would help me nonetheless. "My only question is, Paul, how? To hide something like that from the Red Leader, not to mention that he's one of your best friends, it's immpossible!"
I put my hand on his knee, having to stretch over the gap. "Pat! It's okay! We'll just...sleep on it, ok?"
"Ok," he said,"I trust you," he half smiled. The two awkwardly curled into their beds to sleep,"but it came easy for neither of them.
